Tropical Sands Resort is on Estero Island. The resort offers spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath, 1350 square foot condominiums. Each unit also has a washer and dryer in the unit, smart TVs, full kitchen supplies, linens, free WiFi and more. Amenities on property include heated outdoor pool, 8 seat hot tub, work out room, onsite activities and much, much more.

Tropical Sands Resort offers both weekly rentals and ownership opportunities. The resort has a Saturday-to-Saturday check in/check out procedure with a two-night minimum stay (restrictions apply). Tropical Sands Resort is located near many tourist attractions including the beach, great restaurants, the Thomas Edison Home and spring training for major league baseball (Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins), Tin City and 5th Avenue in Naples, Gulf Coast Town Center, Miromar Outlets, Venice Beach for shark teeth hunting, Sanibel Island for shelling, etc. In just a few hours, you can be at Orlando’s Disney World, Tampa’s Bush Gardens or Miami’s South Beach! Things to know
• Interior furnishings may vary from pictures shown
• Check in time is 3:00pm. Check with the front office to see if you can get in earlier if arriving early. You are welcome to use the amenities while you wait for your room to be ready.
• Check out time is 10:00am. We do not offer late check outs due to the nature of how the resort operates with most people checking in and checking out on Saturdays.
• Some amenities may be under construction.
• The front office is open Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
• Pool hours are from 9:00 am to 10:00pm.
• Gym hours are 9:00 am to 4:30pm.
• A $500 pre-authorization damage deposit is collected at check in. Upon inspection after checking out if no damage is found the authorization will be reversed/cancelled. If there is damage that is found the amount of the damages will be held and the remaining difference will be refunded back to the card on file.
• The exterior or the pool complex is gated which includes the pool, hot tub, grills, chiki hut, and lounging area for guests.
• The Beach less than a 5-minute stroll through a public path directly across Estero Blvd from the Resort.
• Potential for noise.
• Daily maid service is not provided. If you are staying for longer than one week, the Housekeeping Staff will do a stay over cleaning service for you. Weekly room cleanings on Saturdays are being conducted.
• There are 4 gas grills conveniently located in the common area for your use.
• Port-A-Cribs – Are available for rent. The cribs are height adjustable and have pads included. There are also sheets and blankets available in the office. Also available for rent are highchairs.
• Games and video rentals are available in the Main Office.
• Weekly meet-n-greet meetings available with free coffee and donuts for guests of the resort.
• Ft Myers Beach (Estero Island) is without a doubt a beautiful island. Please keep in mind that there was hurricane damage sustained from recent storms, so there may be construction going on at the property as well at different parts of the island.

• Although we love our pets, none are allowed to vacation at Tropical Sands Resort.
• The minimum age requirement of 23.
• Smoking is not allowed.
• Parties are not allowed.
• State Identification Card or Driver License copy will be requested upon booking.
