The Plains Pearl - A "Grandmacore" Cozy 2-bedroom in Campo, CO

Welcome to the Plains Pearl – our little gem on the High Plains! The residence was built in 1953, and for nearly 30 years has been home to the elder generation of our family and a million cozy memories. One of the reasons we began a vacation rental was to give new life to a home that has given so much life to us. The house has been around a minute (or ten), so you’ll probably notice some old house quirks. We don’t pretend to be fancy, but we do claim to be cozy! We appreciate your patience as we are working to get her back in tip-top shape and we’re taking our time to do it right! It never pays to rush a lady, and proceeds from your stay can help us keep moving forward!

The Pearl is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom single-level home with a full kitchen, laundry room, handicap-accessible bathroom, a storm cellar, and easy parking for up to eight vehicles. The home typically sleeps up to 8 guests.

Basic kitchen utensils and bathroom/bedroom linens are provided. Other amenities include wifi, books and games, electric stove, washer and dryer, coffee maker, tea kettle, basic pantry supplies, and a security system.

Each bedroom is equipped with two beds, as well as a futon in the music room that can be made into a single bed with extra linens available. Also available is a baby Pack’n’Play (no linens provided). Three additional twin mattresses are available by request prior to guest arrival.

The house is the only part of the property open to guests, the exterior property is still under renovation.
