Homey Escape Minutes From Anything You Could Need! Free WIFI!

Home to Sheppard Air Base, Midwestern State University, and the Hotter n Hell 100 bike race, as well as a slew of other attractions, this extremely comfortable home is directly adjacent to the country club/country club cottage area in Wichita Falls-the perfect area for a relaxing, shaded walk, run or bike ride. It's walking distance to Parker Square, which features Cinemark Theatre with stadium seating, Jason's deli and so much more!

This bright open space has 3 spacious, well appointed bedrooms, with an extremely comfortable king, a super soft Tempurpedic king and a comfortable queen sized bed. The recently updated bathroom down the hall has everything you need and more, including a small selection of toiletries, just in case.

The completely renovated kitchen just calls out for use with it's beautiful granite countertop and everything the experienced cook would need, including a bar opening up the space to the dining area, just waiting for your guests to sidle up to and chat.

Add in the gorgeous living room prime for entertaining or just kicking back to watch a blu-ray movie on the flat screen and you'll soon find you don't want to leave! The Roku has more than you can watch in a lifetime if you decide to kick back for a little downtime.

Pets may be accepted, pending owner acceptance. There is a flat $50 fee for any allowed pets.

When you have all of this and the ease of access to hiking, biking, golfing and more, the only question is, why isn't your vacation here yet?

Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient

We stayed for four nights while visiting family stationed at Sheppard AFB. The house was in nice neighborhood close to Mid-Western State University and in close proximity to main freeway to easily get around town. Inside, everything was perfect. Tastefully decorated throughout. Kitchen was well-stocked. Everything was perfect. Shannon was very responsive to questions, both before and after we arrived. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Wichita Falls.

Family family reunion stay

Such a Beautiful cottage 💕 Shannon. Was just the sweetest host . We had our small pets and she had dog bowls , treats , etc. and a nice fenced in backyard. The Bungalo was decorated so beautifully the furniture pieces were antiques and The 5ybeds were comfy high quality bedding . I hopefully I can book it for our next year family Reunion. Thanks Shannon

Golf Tournament

We stayed in Wichita Falls for the Texas/Oklahoma junior golf tournament. The house was clean with very comfortable beds for all of us. Excellent location to both golf courses- WFCC and Weeks Park.

The house was very nice! It had everything we needed! The fenced in yard was great for our pets! The location was perfect- lots of shopping and restaurants. We will definitely come again!

Perfection

Honestly, I've never been more impressed with a VRBO stay than I have with Shannon and her home. "Communication with property manager" deserves far more than 5 stars!! I cannot stress how outstanding communication during the whole process was, and so accommodating. The house is in a fantastic location and the neighborhood is so homey. The layout and amenities are perfect for a family stay/needs. It genuinely felt like a home away from home!!

We had a good stay and good communication with the owner. I want to point out some things that are obvious in the listing. 1) There is only one bathroom. It's a nice one, but there's only 1. 2) One of the bedrooms has folding French doors instead of normal solid door. There are photos of this. Noise goes through this pretty easily. Neither of these facts spoiled our visit. It's just a matter of having the proper expectations. Neighborhood is lovely. There was laundry detergent which I appreciated. I only stay at VRBOs when I travel have been doing so for 15 years, so when I say this was a nice, unmemorable house, that means exciting things like a gas leak, mold, or unwanted animals weren't part of the trip. It's high praise. A second bathroom would have been nice, but it's in the listing that there's only one.

Wonderful

The property was as pictured. Shannon was absolutely wonderful to deal with. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen had wonderful appliances. There are three bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The neighborhood is very nice! We stayed to visit our son at the Air Force. Only 10 minutes from base!! Thank you so much!

Plenty of room for our 2 labs. Shaded fenced backyard. Easily walkable to MSU campus. Clean, furnished well, well-stocked kitchen with nice appliances & cookware, easy covered parking, & nice neighborhood. Some difficulty with hot water & thermostat but owner quickly addressed it. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location!

The house was in a very accessible area, it was clean and well equipped. The three beds were all comfortable but one was a standout. I have a bad low back and one had a thick mattress topper that allowed me to sleep comfortably and feel supported. I woke with no pain, something that is unheard of for me when sleeping on a flat mattress! Communication with the owner was friendly and easy. If we ever travel to the area again, we will check this listing first for availability.

Loved kitchen & laundry especially & the fenced backyard so my 4 year old grandson could play safely. 3 bedrooms a bonus. Thank you for extra comforters for cold nights.. PLan to use again.

I'm a very friendly, outgoing person-and I typically am a font of information when it comes to local eateries and entertainment. I LOVE to travel, and one of my favorite things about rentals is that it can bring the travel to you, in a sense. I get to meet new people with so many different stories, and it's really incredible.

I've traveled all over, and even lived in Italy for a while. France, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland-I've got some stories. For now, I'm trying to travel a little closer to home, though I've made it to quite a few corners of the domestic U S of A, don't worry. So I've got a few stories myself, but I'm most interested in yours. :)

A few things I couldn't live without are houseslippers, a book, chapstick...that's probably it. For me, travel is all about the local people, and Homeaway gets me in touch with locals from the start. Local dives, local hangouts, that's what I'm looking for when I go somewhere new, and if I could go on a really long walk when I get there, all the better. I like to get a little lost and find my way back-you stumble across some of the best things when you get lost, sometimes.

As a host, it really depends on you and what you're looking for, sometimes you just need a place to stay, and I get that. But if you'd like to swap stories, I'm all for that. I like to try to locate something local going on around here and pass that along to you, just in case.

I'm born and raised in Wichita Falls and really love this town. I bought this house mainly because of it's layout and location. I've done so much renovation since I bought it, and it shows in the open, inviting floor-plan. Midwestern State University is one street over, and a quick stroll can take you deeper into country club or over to Parker Square shopping center, with Cinemark movie theater, Jason's Deli, the Shoe Closet, and so much more.

Wichita Falls is a great town with little traffic, making it easy to get where you're going quickly, but this location makes it even easier, as it's right in the middle of everything you may need.

This home has been beautifully renovated and furnished. There are granite countertops in the fully updated kitchen with everything you could need to put together the meal of your choice. There's a ventless fireplace in the redone living room waiting to be turned on into a roaring fire.
