North Forest Beach is the place to be for a family vacation. Located .7 of a mile from Coligny Plaza via bike trails or car.

House comes with two wagons, beach chairs loaded in wagon, large cooler loaded in wagon, beach umbrella, sand shovels and buckets all loaded up with chairs - all you need for some fantastic beach time!! See photos..... just add ice and beverages!!

Some attractions near Forest Beach include the famous Van Der Meer Tennis Center, miniature golf, and bike trails that span the entire island. Forest Beach also includes a seasonal Forest Beach Shuttle Service that services North and South Forest Beach Avenues, Coligny Plaza, and Sea Crest Resort. There are miles of white sandy beaches that are ideal for walking, biking, jogging, and fishing.

Enjoy the beach, bike paths, and restaurants of North Forest Beach on the south end of Hilton Head Island. Five bedrooms sleep ten comfortably in beach cottage with private pool, outdoor kitchen and fenced in yard complete with swings and slide.

Cleanliness and comfort are a high priority for us. We keep the house allergy free so no pets. High quality linens and plush towels are included.

Golf and tennis are nearby in Shipyard neighborhood which has three nine-hole golf courses and the world known Van Der Meer tennis center.

Lots of dining options at Coligny Center and Pope Avenue. If you are the eat-in type, ride your bike to Piggly Wiggly at Coligny to shop for the freshest local seafood on the island.

The house offers two master suites, and three bedrooms for the kids and other guests, 3.5 bathrooms plus an outdoor shower.

Walk < 200 yards to the beach and return to the private yard for a refreshing swim while your evening meal is prepared by one of your traveling companions in the outdoor grilling area. The fenced in yard is secure for the kids who will enjoy the swing and slide in a safe play area.

The pool is 16' X 35' and is surrounded by lush vegetation which makes for a private, peaceful setting to enjoy your family gatherings. Enjoy palmettos and ancient live oaks in a garden of gardenias, hibiscus, citrus trees and camellias.

The house is an original North Forest Beach house which underwent a thorough renovation.

Kitchen area includes two refrigerators, two dish washers and double ovens. For those who prefer to be outside in the pool area, enjoy preparing your meals on the outdoor grill.

Hardwood floors throughout ensure cleanliness and an inviting atmosphere.

This is a family neighborhood and is perfect for a reunion or family celebration.

Both large indoor and outdoor dining areas seat 10. A breakfast bar in the kitchen and a board game/reading room are separate from the main gathering area where the wood burning fireplace is located under a coffered ceiling.

In addition the grilling area is a fire pit which requires a recreational burn permit from the Town of Hilton Head via the local fire department (located just off Pope Avenue by the entrance to Shipyard). It's a great way to enjoy a marshmallow roast.
