Fully remodeled property and unit. This is a 4 Bedroom 4 full Bath suite at the Lakeside Gondola Lodge. With various configurations and lock-off doors for privacy. Located right across the street from the Heavenly Gondola and Heavenly Village. Walk to Casinos and private beach (we provide beach vouchers in the summer for discounted access). Natural gas fireplaces and fully stocked large kitchenette plus smaller kitchenettes in 2 bedrooms. Heated saltwater pool (seasonal) and hot tub onsite. Newly renovated, gated property. Contact owner about additional rental options at this property.

Great location and property manager

Overall had everything we needed. Great location one block from Heavenly Village and the gondola. Property managers (on and off site) were incredible, being responsive and kind. Would go back to this property again!

Nice having many separate rooms with their own bathrooms. Will be even better when they add somewhere to store your ski equipment.

Great stay with my friends

The property was in a perfect location. Easy to walk to the Heavenly Gondola with our gear and to the village for meals. We took a short walk to the lake for sunset and it was one of our highlights! The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The electric fireplaces in each room made it feel cozy.

perfect location, clean and well kept

can't beat the location, steps to heavenly gondola, great restaurants and bars. the units are well kept and very clean, the bedrooms were a good size with super comfortable mattresses.

Great Location

The Gondola Lodge is a perfect location if you'd like to be close to what is happening in South Lake Tahoe. It is just a few minutes walk from everything. The property is actually three different suite style rooms in one that can be closed off from each other and the common area. It is a nice place with good furnishings, it does look larger in the photos than it feels in real life. We were happy with our visit and would certainly go back. The host was gracious and ensured that we had everything we needed.

Perfect location and gracious hosts

We had the perfect weekend with more than enough room. The host were very friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, only a couple blocks from the village, casinos, and the lake. We didn't need to Uber anywhere.

Great location and modern room

We very much enjoyed our stay at the lakeside gondola lodge. The rooms were very clean and modern. The pool and Jacuzzi were great and the property manager onsite (Gary) was one of the nicest, helpful people you will ever meet. And of course it is only a one block walk to the heavenly gondola. Our only complaint is that the kitchen, dining, and living areas are a tad small for the number of people we had. There is no main refrigerator and no stove. there are several small fridges in all the rooms and 2 small ones living room. The place is 3 hotel rooms put together. Still, it is a very nice, great place. But if you want to cook and eat in, the space is limited. Other than that, location and everything else is top notch.

A very nice place

We loved our stay in rooms 101, 102, and the game room. The hot tub in the game room is the best Ive ever had and was especially welcome after a great day of skiing. Corey is an absolute sweetheart and excellent at returning texts. Gary is the on premise manager and also extremely helpful and friendly. He even gave us some forgotten coffee filters. It is comforting knowing he is nearby. The casinos are just a short stroll away as is the gondola. We found it faster to take the free shuttle to Stagecoach run where the line is minimal. We will be back!

AWESOME UNIT GREAT FOR FAMILIES AND LARGE GROUPS, CLEAN AND NICELY DECORATED, GREAT LOCATION

WE BOOKED THIS THROUGH VRBO WITH TRAVIS AND HE WAS SUPER HELPFUL AND NICE AND MADE BOOKING REALLY EASY. THIS UNIT WAS GREAT FOR OUR LARGE FAMILY BECAUSE WE HAD A LIVINGROOM WITH A KITCHEN THAT WE COULD COOK IN AND THEN WE ALL HAD OUR OWN FULL BATHROOMS IN OUR BEDROOMS. THE DECOR IS AWESOME AND THE UNITS WERE EMACULATE UPON ARRIVAL. THE ONSITE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL AND NICE. THE LOCATION IS HARD TO BEAT. WE COULD WALK EVERYHERE AND EVERYTHING WAS RIGHT THERE LIKE CASINOS AND GONDOLA AND LAKE AND ACTVITIES. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

So great for LARGE GROUPS

We have stayed here a couple of times now and absolutely love it. The way it is designed is genius. You can totally customize your units to how many guests are in your group. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. We've bright our dog and the outdoor area was very convenient when taking her potty. You can't beat the location or the price. Highly recommended!

Location - Location!!!

We had a wonderful little vacation before school started up again. This place was perfect!! From the beginning booking with Corey, very easy and helpful. To the wonderful on-sight staff - Gary, Melinda and Destiney, helping us with everything from check-in to check-out (even helped carry my groceries in :) ) They truly made this a wonderful vacation. We had teenage son's that had a blast!!! 5 minute walk to lake, shopping/eating just within minutes, walked to casinos, Gondola right there!!!! WOW. The units we stayed in were beautiful!!! Definitely would recommend to friends and family. Thanks guys!!!!

Clean & Contemporary, Hotel Vibe

This recently remodeled (former motel?) property has been designed with the most modern and comfortable amenities. Packed neatly into individual approx 250 sq ft rooms, that interconnect. They have cleverly transformed each room, such that you can have a fully functioning Studio with Kitchen and private shower / bathroom; and also add 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms that each have 2 queen beds, large bathtubs, and individual mini kitchenettes. The privacy is wonderful. The rooms are quiet clean and fun to stay. The hosts are friendly, responsive immediately, make sure you have everything you need, and are always there in an instant if you have any problems or issues. Best of all, they were kind enough to offer both early check in and late check out, to accommodate change in travel plans, and a member of our party who suddenly became ill and needed to rest an extra few hours prior to our long drive home. My mom joined us on this trip. She's a meticulous woman, selects exclusively 4 and 5 star hotels. Her motto is "They say high maintenance like it's a bad thing". And she absolutely LOVED this residence lodge / vacation rental. Said she'd prefer to stay there over other high end hotels, when visiting Tahoe in the future. Thanks so much for the beautiful place, and all your kindness!

Amazing Location!!

I worked with Corey on my reservation and throughout my stay. She was very accommodating, quick to respond, and made sure that we had everything we needed to make our vacation enjoyable. The location is the best thing about this condo: 1) Less than a 5 minute walk to the gondola base, which was super convenient for skiing in the morning and made it easy to get home from apres-ski in the afternoon (there are multiple bars with outdoor patios in the sun that have happy hour specials at the gondola base). 2) Less than a 5 minute walk to the casinos, which made it easy to partake in the night life. In addition, the South Tahoe Airporter shuttle is $30 each way to/from RNO airport and picks-up/drops-off at Harvey's, which is the closest casino to the condo. There were a couple downsides to the condo: 1) It's small. We utilized the 4BR option for 12 people and it was definitely cramped. The living area has everything you need, but is a little tight (especially with ski gear). It was totally manageable though, especially if you're with a group of close friends. 2) The game rooms and hot tub were out of commission while we were there, which was a bummer, so confirm that they're operational before you book your stay if that's important to you. All in all, I'll definitely be staying at this condo next time I visit Heavenly.

No complaints here, walked to everything

So glad we didn't book a rental car--there was no need to here! Walked to gondola, restaurants, ski rentals and most importantly-casinos! Do note it is not a full kitchen: If you are the type to have your own ski equipment and want to cook daily or make sandwiches, it can get a bit cramped (6 of us with 3br ) But manager on site was super cool/helpful. Hot tub was awesome, WD on site for last day laundry load too! Wasn't a crazy party place but wasn't so quiet we were being shushed when we came in late either--good times, would stay here again!

Very Impressive

If your going to South Lake Tahoe look no further. Talk about luxury for the right price. Why book a hotel when you have a place this nice just a click away? Talk about location. Right out the back door of Harvey's this place was awesome. I travel to the South Lake area many times a year and I don't think I can stay anywhere else. This place has it all. Really I'd be surprised if you arrived and this place didn't have what you needed to get you through the week/weekend. On top of all that this place was CLEAN!!! This is my first time using VRBO. I have never written a review on any website before, but after my stay I had to share my experience. Don't think twice!! I'm a hard one to impress, but with this property and the service provided, I was beyond impressed.

Prime location and lovely property

We stayed here with our family over the fourth of july and had a wonderful time! The unit was perfect for our group of 12. It had a great design and feel. We were able to cook a big meal in the larger kitchenette and then sit outside watching fireworks from the deck pods open to all guest. The location was a big plus as well. We could walk to everything including the beach that we received private passes for. Would defiantly come back.

GREAT PROPERTY...UNBELIEVABLE LOCATION...HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I was blown away with how beautiful the room was. The décor was amazing and having fireplaces and flat screen tvs in every room was awesome. I loved that the unit had a kitchen cause being able to cook some nights really saved us some money. The location of this property is probably the best in the whole area cause we were just steps to the Heavenly Gondola for skiing and then we could walk right to the casinos and even walk right down to the lake. The person that took my reservation (I think Corey) was very friendly and helpful. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property and we will definitely be coming back.
