Our vacation home is located in this stunning, diverse landscape of “Mecklenburg Switzerland,” in the small village of Tessenow in the municipality of Schorssow, practically right on the “edge of the forest.”—Every step leads you into nature.—
This landscape, which is largely undeveloped for tourism, offers very beautiful views. Nature photography can yield beautiful results in any season, as each season has its own unique charm.
We’ve furnished our house with families with children in mind. So it’s practical—not too much decoration, healthy building materials, and easy to maintain.
Good thermal insulation was important to us. It really pays off in both winter and summer!
The dining area on the terrace near the kitchen is lovely; you can access it via the semicircular natural stone staircase to enjoy meals surrounded by greenery.
We’ve tried to provide ample storage space in every room—for coats and jackets, scarves and hats, as well as for towels, clothing, and bathroom items in the bathroom so that towels can dry. In the bedrooms, in addition to the closets, there are plenty of hangers and hooks for hanging clothes.
A sandbox has been set up for toddlers.
You can store the bicycles you bring with you in a bike shed.
Electricity costs are billed based on usage.
