The Retreat in Clayton
The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located home. Just 1.5 miles from downtown Clayton, you’ll have access to coffee shops, bars, and retail stores at your doorstep! There are a plethora of food options nearby as well as multiple grocery stores, gas stations, and pharmacies. Only 18 miles from downtown Raleigh, you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
The space
Welcome to this spacious and inviting home! The open concept layout features ample living room space with plenty of seating, a 50 inch tv and indoor fireplace, perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Adjacent to the living room you will find the dining room and kitchen which features a 9 foot island and all the essentials needed to create a memorable meal!
The home offers 4 bedrooms, each with queen-size beds and ample closet space. The primary bedroom features a private bathroom with a garden tub and standalone shower. The other three bedrooms have access to another bathroom that has a bathtub and shower.
If you like the outdoors, you've got options! From the charming front porch for morning coffee or the secluded rear covered porch and private-fenced in backyard featuring a fire pit, perfect for those cool nights when you want to just get away. The gas grill is also available to use during your stay! During the warmer months, you can enjoy an abundance of wild flowers in the garden, and you can pick fresh fruit or veggies of your choosing (tomatoes, cucumbers, blueberries, and figs). The backyard is completely fenced in with a 5 foot vinyl fence, giving you a further sense of privacy. Driveway parking is available for guests along with street parking in front of the home.
Guest access
Upon your arrival, you will be able to access the home through a secure, keyless entry system. The code will be provided via VRBO messaging 24-48 hours prior to your check-in. You will have full, private access to the entire home except for the garage.
House Rules
Smoking and Vaping are strictly prohibited both inside and anywhere on the property. A $1,000 fee will be applied with immediate cancellation if violated. This policy is in place to ensure a clean and safe environment for all guests and to maintain the quality of our home. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our home smoke-free.
Please be respectful of the neighbors or community. Do not disturb or use the neighbor’s driveway. The home is in a very respectable and quiet neighborhood.
No loud noise or music past 9:00 PM. A complaint from a neighbor will result in immediate cancellation
No parties, events, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette stays. A $1,000 fee will be applied with immediate cancellation
No Extra / Overnight Guests (having more guests than stated in your reservation or if the number does not match, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation)
No Pets.
Please refrain from eating or drinking upstairs. All food and drink should be consumed in the kitchen, dining, and living areas downstairs.
Please remove your shoes when accessing the upstairs area. A coat closet with ample storage is available off the entryway.
