Large (130 square meter or about 1400 square feet), uncommonly quiet two bedroom apartment in the heart of Helmholtz, Prenzlauerberg. In the winter you'll forget it's cold out with all the sunlight, and in the summer you'll stay cool from the cross breeze (windows front and back...apartment slightly taller than anything surrounding it so there's always a pleasant breeze). This is my personal home that I rent out when I'm away, which I will be for the next several months.It's super close to great infrastructure like the M2 tram (on the corner), S41/S42/S8 ringbahn Prenzlauerallee station (5 minute walk), U2 (probably a brisk 8 minute walk) or an easy stroll down the hill into Mitte which I do often. It's about a 3 minute walk to all the great restaurants in Helmholtz, but located on a quiet side street just far away enough for there be very little noise.It's also an easy walk into Kollwitz with its great farmers market on Thursdays and the weekend, or in the spring and summer nice walk to the Mauer Park flea market. It would be hard to beat this location in Berlin, and the sunlight this place gets is unparalleled.The apartment was built in 2000, but it's on top of an 1893 building with no elevator so be prepared for that. I personally like the stairs (they keep me healthy) but they'd be no fun of you have health problems.
