This small, rustic yet charming stone house for 2–3 people is located on the outskirts of the old town of Lauris.
It is surrounded by a 1,300-square-meter garden with mature trees and lush vegetation, offering both sunny and shaded spots for relaxing. At the far end of the garden, hidden from view, is a wooden above-ground swimming pool measuring 6.7 by 4 meters. It’s a wonderful place to cool off on warm summer days. The pool is typically open from May through September. Please note: Due to the sensitivity of the liner (risk of discoloration), swimming while using sunscreen or tanning products is strictly prohibited!
This small but charming house features a living-dining room with an adjoining bedroom, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a semi-separate toilet. The second bedroom, a vaulted room, can be accessed both from the garden and via a spiral staircase from the upper living area.
There are dining areas both in front of the house on the shaded side and in various spots throughout the garden.
Vehicles can be parked on the enclosed property.
The house is not isolated; the medieval town of Lauris—with its castle and castle terraces, narrow alleys, old church, washhouse, and many artists’ studios—is just a few steps away. There you’ll find all shopping options as well as cafés, restaurants, and cultural venues.
A large Super U supermarket is just a few kilometers away.
The world-famous town of Lourmarin (one of “Les plus beaux villages de France”) is located about 4 kilometers from Lauris. Here, you’ll find a charming Provençal market on Fridays, as well as countless small shops and cultural attractions. Famous writers such as Albert Camus and Henri Bosco have found their final resting place in the venerable old cemetery.
