Cabin #1 Cooper Landing Fish Camp - Upper Kenai River Cabin Rental

Come relax in your own private cabin after a long day of fishing at Cooper Landing Fish Camp, located on the world famous Upper Kenai River. Cabin 1 sleeps up to 4 and is equipped with a kitchenette complete with cooktop, microwave, fridge, and coffee pot. Prop your feet up on your front deck while your fresh catch grills on the BBQ. There is a separate shower house with laundry and a private full bath. Fire pip available. Guests provide own wood.

Cooper Landing Fish Camp also offers expertly guided fishing trips on the Upper Kenai River. Choose between a half day, full day or canyon trip for sockeye salmon, world class rainbow trout and dolly varden. Each drift boat seats up to four fishermen plus the guide.

Whether you are fishing the upper or lower Kenai River, or the saltwater out of Seward or Homer, we are centrally located in Cooper Landing on the Kenai Peninsula making all of these locations easily accessible. If you are not a fisherman, there are hiking and biking trails in the Chugach National Forest, scenic float trips and kayaking on Kenai Lake. We are more than happy to provide suggestions to make your Alaskan vacation unforgettable.

A perfect stay.

Had to make a quick trip to bid farewell to our “dad” and this beautiful Alaskan cabin was a perfect quiet place to be. Clean, peaceful, easily accessible and comfortable made this a perfect stay.

This was the best place we have ever stayed at in Alaska! We loved the facilities, the BBQ and the outside fire pit. We definitely will share with others the best place to stay in Alaska!

Great location, Adorable cabin

The cabin was tidy, well stocked and in a great location. Although we had to go out of the cabin to use the boathouse, it was so clean and close by we didn’t mind it at all! Free washer and dryer use was a big plus! The little deck by the river was great after a long day. Only challenge was we had no TV option for the late evening wind down. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great stay

Cute cabin that fit our needs perfectly. We appreciated having our own bathroom and access to a washer and dryer. The porch and outside dining could have been great… if it had ever stopped raining! My teenagers loved the lofted area for relaxing. Comfy beds, quiet neighborhood, great stay.

Cute Cabin

The cabin was cozy and the grounds very well kept. The bath house was clean and our towels were changed daily. The cabin is quite close to the main road so there was traffic noise, but that seems to be the case for most cabins in the area. I could have done without the giant bear skin hanging over the loft, but I might not be the target audience. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin.

Great little cabin for a fishing getaway

2 Friends and Myself stayed here for 4 nights. It is small, but very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for "luxury" this may not be your best choice, but if you are looking for something clean, cozy, and a good location this is your spot. There is a grill on the front porch, and rustic and cute decor. The price to value for this location is fantastic. The owner was super easy to contact, and also shipped me my rain jacket i left behind. 5 stars

My husband and I loved our stay here. It was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't fish but still very much enjoyed our stay here. Its only a short walk to the river and very beautiful!

So Peaceful

Just an adorable little cabin. Property is kept so clean and fresh and well stocked. The bathrooms with showers are private to each cabin even though it is a separate building, VERY NICE. This is the perfect location between Seward & Homer. We felt a little guilty for staying in a "Fish Camp" when we weren't fishing, but got over that real fast when Kathy, owner, came by to welcome us. This was the "icing on our cake", being the last stop on our Alaska vacation

Wonderful retreat

The cabin was adorable, spacious, and clean. I wish he had more than one night to stay there. One of the hosts greeted us and was very nice. I loved all of the little details at the cabin. Would stay there again if we ever make it back that way!

Katelyn, her husband and daughters were the best!! So friendly and helpful. We loved staying here because it was right on the river and my husband was able to fish right there. Very clean cabin and bathrooms. The washer and dryer were a plus as well!! We would definitely stay here again!!

Best cabin on the Kenai Peninsula!

The cabin truly had it all: a location right on the Kenai River (with a private trail to the river for a great view), clean and well constructed cabin that sleeps five comfortably, with running water in the cabin, and a private bath house with washer/dryer (you don't find that in many cabins), and even a TV/DVD stocked with great movies. Our kids enjoyed the fire pit for S'mores, and the fishing (on the Kenai, and close to the Russian River). We will be staying here again in the future. Thanks, Tom and Kathy for a great stay!
