Many amenities are included in your stay including access to our sandy beach, main resort dock, w/ seating and a fish cleaning station on the backside of our store. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring or enjoying a quiet morning coffee, this cool cabin provides a superb retreat. Perfect little getaway.

The private dock with live bait available was a huge plus. The owner was great with helping any questions or concerns. Will definitely be renting the cabin again.

Simple cabin getaway

A nice little spot on the lake away from the city if that's what you're looking for. There's not much around and not many amenities, but it's perfect for a weekend getaway

Weekend stay

Cabin is clean and simple. Quiet area and beautiful lake. Only complaint is that the water was a bit cold still to swim, but that’s Texas for ya.

Weekend getaway

Perfect spot for fishing, grilling or sitting by fire pit. We were even able to watch the Cowboys game. Stayed fri-sun, on Sunday, the water pressure was low. Great homemade salsa in store.

Great family weekend!

We enjoyed our time with the kids out on the lake. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The kids loved the futon. Great Lake views. Plenty of space for two adults and two kids. We loved every minute of our trip. The owner was very informative and available if needed. We will plan to go back for sure!

Peace & tranquility

I very much enjoyed our stay at cabin #4. It was a very basic setup inside the cabin, yet comfortable. Had everything we needed. The best part was the private dock, where we enjoyed a full day of fishing. The scenery was beautiful as well. We enjoyed a few hikes, getting to know the landscape while we were there. Overall a beautiful & peaceful escape from the city life.

Nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay, but the loft was a little difficult for us older people to access. The owner was very helpful in all respects to help us get situated. He even sent a young man to our cabin shortly after our arrival to help me get live bait to fish with. The view was excellent.

James and his wife were Real Karen's. They complained from the moment they arrived till the moment they left. The cabin is waterfront with its own private dock. They were really upset about not being able to back thier car right up to the front door too lol. The cabin is actually much nicer than the posted pics due to renovations. But thanks for the 3 stars, you're not welcome back!

Best Night Away!

We had such an amazing experience here! Jason was so welcoming and went out of his way to make my boyfriends birthday special. We had absolutely no issues. Any questions or recommendations we had, he was very eager to answer. Very nice and peaceful night away from our hectic lives! We will most definitely be booking again and recommending to anyone looking for an awesome little getaway!

First time at cabin with 2 year old

We did a one night, 2 day stay and our 11 yr old and 2 yr old loved it! We finally got the 11 yr old in the outdoors away from electronics and he loved it. The lake, the fire pit, the cookout and smores. The 2 yr old wanted to be on the big porch with her cup and snacks the whole time. We needed the night away.!

We were not able to stay here after driving eleven and a half hours despite the fact that I messaged the host and called the number on VRBO for the host and left a few messages for two days. Never got the code to check in. We were looking forward to it. We ended up having to find another place to stay in the middle of the night. Very unfortunate that I am writing this terrible review because it would have been a great stay based on the area I believe.

Great for the price

Our night at this cabin was pretty fun. The only complaint we have is that with a recent knee surgery getting up the stairs is difficult to say the least. Be sure and put the air conditioner off economy mode to keep it cold in the summer. It is right across the street from the lake.

Thanks for the review! As I've told many people in the past, if you cannot handle stairs, we do have the Captains Camper which only has three stairs leading up to it. Unfortunately none of the Cabins are accessible at the moment due to the fact that they were built on the side of a hill to capture the beautiful lake view.
