The space
The Location: this high- end hideaway is located on the border of Ipanema and Copacabana. The buzzing life of Copacabana and the iconic spots of Ipanema, a combination of the best of Rio, at your doorstep. Lots of restaurants, multiple supermarkets and a shopping street within 2 blocks.

The Building: gated, 24- hour doorman service. 2 elevators. Apartment is on the 6th floor.

The Space: There are two windows. As a rarity for this size apartments, both the living room and the bedroom have windows. Its not a "tunnel" apartment with the entry door on one end and the only window in the other end of the apartment. The place is fitted with designer furniture and high- quality appliances only. 38 square meters / 410 square feet in total.

Your sleep is valued: Both windows are triple glazed sound proof. There are window blinds for complete darkness, firm pillows and a brand new high quality mattress. Double bed.

Home Office: 500+ mbps high speed internet. Desk, padded chair, power outlets. Dedicated work space overlooking a jungle-like garden. Until the afternoon the place is quiet for Rio standards.

Your privacy is valued: Guests are allowed to receive visitors without prior registration under the following conditions:
1: Maximum 1 visitor at a time.
2: The guest is fully responsible for their visitors not damaging or stealing anything and for not disturbing the neighbors.
3: The visitor MUST NOT remain alone in the apartment. The guest must be present at all times when their visitor is in the apartment. The guest must not share the smartlock PIN with their guest.

Elevated Hygiene: washer-dryer inside the unit with HOT water. This is rare in Rio. Due to the 110v power system, washing machines use cold water. Proper hot water in the shower and the sink too, from a gas heater (not only luke warm water from an electric shower head and only cold water at the sink).

Air- conditioning: There is a silent split airco with remote control. There are also 2 ceiling fans. Please note: electricity consumption is to be paid additionally.

Kitchen & Bathroom: Fully equipped american kitchen. Nespresso coffe machine. Microwave, electric kettle, toaster, blender, iron, ironing board, vertical vacuum cleaner and clothes drying rack. Spacious shower cabin. Hair dryer.

Public Transport: Metro Station General Osorio (lines 1 and 4) 180m meters/600 feet away.

Feels like home: Its not a place set up for commercial airbnb but a place I have carefully put together, where you can feel really comfortable and at home. I manage the place myself, working with hand picked and tested staff on the ground. We pay attention to detail and quality.

Check-in: any time after 15h (3pm). NO extra fee for late check- in.
Check out: latest at 11am.

This apartment is not a good fit for guests who smoke, need a parking space, want to sleep with the window open.
