Neo Hacienda is a newly constructed, modern home with many old time elements of a traditional hacienda. Ideally located close to Sonoma's historic plaza yet in a quiet and secluded world of its own. 2300 sq. ft. of indoor living space is complimented with an 800 sq. ft. inner courtyard featuring a fire pit, gas barbecue and outdoor furniture. There is also a swimming pool and guest house that sits above the beautifully manicured lawn and rock garden. The home combines the best of today's indoor/outdoor living styles; from the many patios and courtyards to the outdoor redwood shower, this modern hacienda is the perfect way to relax and entertain in Sonoma's historic wine country. We are also a 10 minute walk from the famous, Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa.

The pics don't do it justice. Larger than you think and just very nice and well appointed. Landscaping was very well done and well kept. The house was clean, perfect for our group of 8 and really made our stay comfortable and fun.

Lovely oasis

The house and setting were lovely. My family had a good stay. We enjoyed the quiet backyard, pool and close walk ability to the walking trail to the Plaza. Parking was easy and spacious for three cars off the street.The information in the listing about air conditioning could have been more clear. The AC portable units in the bedrooms worked well. The portable units in the kitchen and TV room did not offer cooling, only air circulation. The patio area could have used a quick sweep for cobwebs, otherwise they were comfortable and inviting. The kitchen would have benefitted from hot water in the kitchen faucet, it was luke warm even after a long draw and a roll of plastic wrap would have been helpful for food storage throughout the weekend. Thank you for sharing this lovely spot and for the stay.

Beautiful and Relaxing Home in Sonoma

We had an incredible time in this modern hacienda. The house was very spacious and comfortable, and the pool was absolutely dreamy. The neighborhood was quiet and the garden was deeper and more private than expected. Would definitely return!

This Sonoma Hacienda was more than fantastic! Every room of the house(s) and every area of the property was well thought out, user friendly, beautiful and artistically unique. The house and property was very clean upon arrival. The Host provides almost every amenity you could need during your stay. If by chance you would need anything, town is just minutes away. The setting of this property is incredible. It is so quiet and peaceful in the mornings and evenings. Every one in our family enjoyed the experience of this beautiful Hacienda in Sonoma.

Would love to stay here again!

This home was lovely! It was clean and had plenty of space for everyone to really spread out. The grounds are SO beautiful and well maintained! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! If you’re on the fence about whether or not to stay here, do yourself a favor and book it.

A 3 day family affair wedding in Sonoma!

Our son was the best man and our daughter was a bridesmaid at a wedding in Sonoma, where both the bride and groom were dear friends. Our other son, all their significant others, as well as my husband and I, were all invited guests. The eight of us needed a place to stay where we could all hang out and get ready for the wedding all at once! The house was perfect!

Relaxing Getaway

We had an absolutely relaxing stay at this beautiful Hacienda home in Sonoma. It was a charming property. The home itself is spacious and offered a perfect blend of rustic hacienda quirk and modern amenities.The interior is filled with warm, earthy tones. The fully equipped kitchen made It convenient, and we loved preparing charcuterie boards and enjoying them outside on the patio by the fire pit.Location-wise, it couldn’t be closer to downtown. It's just a short drive to Sonoma Plaza, where we found excellent dining and shopping, and the local wineries are all within easy reach. The host was very responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you for having us!

Thanksgiving weekend stay

The property was very much like it was advertised - nice gathering spaces and well-stocked kitchen for dishes and cookware. There could have been more towels to fit the number of guests allowed and there were no blankets. For the cooler seasons, some throw blankets would be good. The property is in a nice area with easy access to everything in sonoma. It was nice and quiet at night. We would definitely stay there again.

Not super clean

The place was large and pretty nice. It was dirty though with a lot of bugs, which was disappointing considering the cost. They encourage people to leave the windows open so no wonder about the bugs. The pool was really nice.

Great stay 1.5 miles from Sonoma Square

We had a great time as a group of 3 couples. House is in an excellent location about a 1.5 mile walk from the square. The walk is lovely as you take a bike path. Host easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had trouble with A LOT of flies by the pool (ended up buying fly traps) but at least they didn’t bite lol.

Wine Country Visit

The house was comfortable for our party of 6. The bedrooms were spacious, the bathroom were also large and fully furnished and there was plenty of room in the dining area and outdoors to socialize. The house is not far from wine country and each morning we would drive to visit several wineries, bring back some great wines, take a swim in the pool and then relax by the firepit. We ate at several great restaurants which were very close by (highly recommend the girl and the fig-practically walking distance). We cooked breakfast each morning and the kitchen is functionally and fully stocked. We would recommend this rental and will definately visit again when we return to Sonoma !!!!

Perfect property for a Sonoma trip!

Stayed at this property with a group of friends and it was the perfect house in a great location. Enough bedroom + bathrooms for the group, great outdoor space to hang, lovely pool, and it’s a 30 minute easy walk into the center of town. Would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful property

We had a lovely stay with family. The house was initially not clean and as a result, we had an ant issue but the owner was very responsive to our needs. The house and grounds themselves are just beautiful and well laid out for a family of 8!

Sonoma Hacienda Exceeded Expectations

The home was even better than we had hoped -- perfect layout as bedrooms were on one side while social spaces were on the other. Perfect for a group that was split between early risers and late sleepers. The grounds were beautiful; the outside seating space comfy; the pool the perfect size for relaxing; the extra bungalow was an added bonus, which I truly enjoyed staying in; the design perfect for the hacienda styling; and easy travel to town (highly recommend El Molino for a quick yummy Mexican meal) and the highways to get out of town. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors nice. We would most certainly book this again for our next visit!!!

Gorgeous peaceful home with relaxing pool and space for 2 families

We rented the house for my birthday weekend with a friend's family - two couples, two teenagers and our dog. We spent most of the weekend lounging by the pool and eating our meals in the courtyard. The yard is beautifully landscaped and very private. Checkin & checkout were a breeze and the house was very clean. There's lots of space and we loved using the grill to cook. The outdoor shower was a treat and we were so happy to bring our dog. It was a quick ride into town. Would love to come back!

Amazing place to stay!

This property is incredible! I stayed here with friends for a weekend while visiting wineries in Sonoma. The house is incredible and the backyard is perfect for hanging out and swimming. 10/10 and would book this property every time I am in Sonoma! Thank you again for the great hospitality!

The home is close to the town square yet you rarely hear a sound other than the birds in the trees. We built the house from the ground up combining modern building techniques and materials with classic, old world sensibilities. The windows in the house are from the 1930s giving the home a rustic feel while the countertops throughout are poured from concrete in a modern, contemporary style.
