Location
The “Hamburger Hallig” vacation home is located in the charming resort town of Bordelum, right across from the Hamburger Hallig in a uniquely beautiful landscape along the Marsch-Geestrand. There you’ll find the lovely Hallig-Krog, which is worth a visit no matter the weather. Fresh air and unspoiled nature guarantee an unforgettable vacation. Bordelum is located 25 km north of the coastal town of Husum, about 5 km from the North Sea, on the Bäderstraße leading to the harbors of Schlüttsiel and Dagebüll, as well as the ferry terminals to the North Frisian Islands and Halligs.
St.-Peter-Ording, with its beautiful sandy beaches, is about a 60-minute drive (57 km) away. The Nordstrand National Park is about a 35-minute drive (33 km) away. Neighboring Denmark offers a variety of destinations, such as Legoland, the romantic town of Tønder, or the dune-covered island of Rømø.
The island of Sylt is also easily accessible for day trips by train or car ferry.
The Baltic Sea and Flensburg. Glücksburg, Schleswig (Viking Museum), and Kiel are all within an hour’s drive.

In Bordelum, there’s a bakery (900 m) with a small shop for essentials. In the small town of Bredstedt (4 km), you’ll find a wide range of shopping options, such as Netto, Aldi, Markant, Lidl, Sky, Rossmann, and Vivo Naturkost, to name just a few.

Amenities
The approximately 100-square-meter vacation home features 3 bedrooms. The combined living-dining area with the open kitchen is perfect for social gatherings. You can relax on the cozy sofa in front of the wood-burning stove or watch an exciting movie on the flat-screen TV.

The vacation home has three bedrooms (1 box-spring bed 180 x 200, two double beds 140 x 200); on the first floor, you’ll find a shower room, and on the upper floor, a combined shower/tub bathroom—both with a toilet.

The open-concept kitchen is very well equipped: dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, oven, ceramic cooktop with 4 burners, filter coffee maker (filter size 4), electric kettle, and a toaster.

When the weather is nice, a terrace with comfortable patio furniture and a natural garden invite you to relax. A charcoal grill is available for the perfect barbecue evening.

Special Features
Children and dogs are warmly welcome here. The garden (not fully fenced) offers plenty of open space for both two- and four-legged friends to run around and play.
We’re happy to offer you free Wi-Fi. Parking is available right at the house in the driveway and in the carport. For guests arriving by electric car, our on-site wallbox is available for use.

Bordelum offers well-developed, beautiful biking, hiking, and inline-skating routes along the North Sea, as well as fantastic nature trails in the surrounding area and the Stollberg (TV tower), which, at 44 meters, is the highest point on the west coast and offers a view of the vast marshland stretching toward the North Sea.

An initial set of bed linens and towels must be booked with this accommodation and is already included in the final price.
