Move in week

My family of 5 stayed at this property while we were moving my daughter into her residence for college. The house was comfy for all of us and was conveniently located. Erica ( the property manager) was fast to respond when we had a problem. I will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay in Chico

As people who live in SF, we were looking for somewhere we could go where we could enjoy nature and be away from the density of SF due to Coronavirus. We loved our stay here with the beautiful backyard and spacious living spaces. Very close to lots of hiking and the house is based in a quiet little cul de sac. We greatly enjoyed our stay here.

The home was perfect size for the six of us staying in Chico for a family wedding. Large, easy-to-work/socialize-in kitchen, patio for eating outside with lovely grassy back yard, lots of trees.

Clean spacious home in with shaded garden.

We needed a place to stay with our adult children while in town. This home was perfect for our needs. It is located just blocks, walking distance, from Upper Bidwell Park and just a short drive to downtown Chico. It felt open and spacious in the living areas and the kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay. During hot days the shady backyard stayed cool and comfortable. Joyce was easy to work with and is very responsive to any issues.

Nice quiet area.

Everything was ready for us just a promised. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen had all we needed for meal prep and the beds comfortable. We did have some issues with a few items. The ice maker didn't work and the freezer drips water onto the floor. The front burners on the gas stove didn't ignite. The hall shower quit working once the water was hot. Although it did not affect us, there is a tarp on the roof. The shower issue was fixed within a couple of hours of contacting the caretaker. The freezer repair was to give us extra towels for the floor and we were shown where the lighter was for the burners on the stove. All in all, it was comfortable for the six of us staying in Chico. Price is very reasonable.

Chico Family Gathering

Our family arrived from three different states for a special gathering with a family member in Chico. We needed a place for eight and this home truly worked! It turned out to be even better than anticipated. Everything was as advertised and more. Beautiful home with plenty of space for all. Best of all was the communication with the owner. We had a problem that needed to be solved and it was done so promptly and efficiently. Great kitchen to work in with more than one person doing food preparation. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Gorgeous Home - Great for Entertaining

We rented this great home from Joyce for a family gathering. She made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival and encouraged us to take full advantage of the home's amenities. We had a large family dinner here in the beautiful backyard and it was a wonderful time, enjoyed by all. Definitely recommend this rental and we look froward to renting from Joyce again in the future.

Vista Del Monte Pool House Suite

Nice quiet setting, beautiful yard, easy access to Highway 99, very comfortable setting. The pool house is located between onsite tennis court and the pool. I highly recommend it!

This home is a piece of heaven

This home is a piece of heaven, all what we need to feel home away from home. Baby wanted Daddy to get the house for him. So cozy, we loved the design, the décor, the kitchen, the garden but most of all… the wonderful redwood trees…feels like you go to the backyard and suddenly you are walking in a trail of Sequoia Park…that marvelous it is!

Wonderful stay at Roth St House

Terrific house in Roth St which suited the needs perfectly for our family of 7 visiting from London. The house was really spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We were in Chico to visit our relatives and this home really did make our visit very comfortable and memorable. Joyce was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. We would definitely return for future family gatherings in Chico!

Perfect Home Away From Home

This home was perfect for our family during our trip to Chico. It is exactly as described, with comfortable furnishings and all the modern conveniences one would want. Wonderful place to relax!

We enjoyed our stay in Chico at Joyce's beautiful home. Plenty of room to enjoy a peaceful stay with my wife and 99 year old mother. Caught the fall colors and still had Summer flowers all around the home. We will be back next spring! Thank you Joyce for all your hospitality and kindness.

Awesome House!!!

Beautiful house in nice neighborhood right outside of downtown Chico. Close to Bidwell Park. Great for anything you can imagine. Kitchen was amazing! There are three sinks!!! Nice backyard with lots of room for lounging. Fireplace in the living room for getting cozy. Nice big shower with two shower heads!

Family Place to Stay / Memorial Service

It was like having a second home. It was comfortable, clean, had all the comforts of home. Well stocked, we only had to bring in our own food. Everything else we needed was there. It was like gathering in our own home at the end of long days. Every room was beautiful, clean, welcoming and cozy. We would recommend this place to anyone needing a place to stay. Reserving, planning, and check out was simple and easy. Loved our stay, loved the owner, so helpful and kind. Beautiful home in a beautiful quiet neighborhood, near stores and park. Lovely!

Perfect for a group

Eight of my family members visited Chico and stayed here. We wanted a place where we could all be together and eat. This house met our needs perfectly, with a spacious kitchen/dining room/living room and connected patio in an open floor plan. The house and yard are well-kept and beautiful. The beds are comfortable. Two sinks are convenient with multiple cooks.

Wonderful property

My husband and I were recently in Chico, CA for a wedding and we rented this home with his Mother, Sister, Brother and Sister-In-Law. The home is beautiful and very neat and clean. All the amenities are there and if you need anything, Joyce is very helpful in that regard. She has good knowledge of the area and offers nice suggestions of places to visit, things to do and restaurants to eat at. Overall, I was very pleased with this rental, my only complaint is that the bed in the Master bedroom is very hard (for my personal liking at least). The property was easy to find and seemed to be nicely located for our own needs. We would go back again if the occasion arose.

I have been working for the Center for International Trade at Los Rios College in Chico for the past 22 years. I grew up in Manhattan Beach California. I enjoy Live Theater, the Arts, Soroptimist Club, and Traveling. The returning guests I have had rent the house every year love the location, safety, all the amentities and so close to the park for walks.

This 1/4 acre property has large grass areas with a patio table and a BBQ. You can go swimming in the creek about 2 blocks from the house. There is a fire pit, and a large grass area to play ball. It feels like a resort with the gardens and cut flowers. I have lived in Chico for 32 years and feel this community is very special. People are friendly and the town is very active and sporty. There are bike paths, streams, fishing close by.

The house has a chef kitchen, open floor plan, a large backyard with Redwoods, Oaks and Cherry trees. It is in a safe cul-de-sac and only 2 blocks from the park.
