This inviting 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home comfortably sleeps up to six guests, offering space for families or couples seeking an intimate mountain escape. The open floor plan creates an easy flow between kitchen, dining, and living areas — perfect for gathering after a day of exploring Western North Carolina.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch rocking chairs, listening to songbirds and the rustle of trees, or unwind on the spacious back deck as the sun sets over Mt. Pisgah and the French Broad River Valley. On quiet evenings, you may spot the region’s famous white squirrels, graceful deer, or even an occasional black bear wandering through the property — a true taste of mountain life.

The primary suite features a king-size Tempur-Pedic mattress and direct access to the deck. A downstairs bedroom and bath offer extra privacy, making the home ideal for multi-generational groups or friends traveling together.

Located just minutes from local favorites — Hendersonville (11 mi), Brevard (14 mi), Asheville (25 mi) — you’ll find an abundance of outdoor adventures and cultural experiences nearby. Beautiful Views - Excellent Host

The property itself is beautiful with amazing views and plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy them. The home itself is very charming and well kept. The highlight for me was getting to watch the elusive white squirrel from the front porch! Finally, the host was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

Our family has stayed at Mountain Ridge Cottage several times during the summer and enjoyed its peacefulness and beautiful sunsets. It is always well maintained, exceptionally clean and updated. There is always something new to admire in the landscape. Check-in was easy. The kitchen is always adequately stocked with any dishes or cookware needed. This place makes me feel at home.

Great weekend get away!

This home has an awesome view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is comfortable and peaceful. The access roads are gravel, but an easy drive.

Fun family vacation.

The home was spacious and had beautiful mountain views. It was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed long days out hiking, sightseeing, eating out but then came home and were able to relax in comfort. Full kitchen was very helpful, rooms were comfortable and clean.

Perfect Getaway

Well stocked with great views home. Feels like a retreat space with its quiet location, but situated close to town for activities and meals. The property manager is responsive and helpful. I would visit again.

Getaway w/ a view

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was well kept and had all the amenities of home. We spent every morning and evening on the backporch- the views are amazing. Also, got to see some deer and white squirrels that visited the yard. Would absolutely recommend!

After two years of searching, we discovered Mountain Ridge Cottage on Turkey Creek — a place that immediately felt like home. It became our retreat from busy lives in Louisiana, a quiet refuge where we could slow down, breathe deeply, and feel the presence of God in the beauty around us.

Today, our daughters manage Mountain Ridge Cottage, continuing the family tradition of sharing this special place with others. What began as a dream for us has become a legacy of love that spans generations. We hope every guest experiences the same peace, renewal, and sense of connection that our family has found here.

We were drawn to the small-town charm of Hendersonville and Brevard, where friendly people and an easy pace of life make every visit feel special. From the moment we first drove up Turkey Creek Drive, we knew this was where we wanted to be. The breathtaking mountain view from the deck immediately captured our hearts and continues to be the highlight of every stay.

Our goal was to create a mountain retreat where we could gather with our children and grandchildren — a place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of Western North Carolina. The Turkey Creek Drive community offers the perfect balance: peaceful and private, yet conveniently close to everything. In just ten minutes, we can reach local shops and restaurants, and the Asheville Airport is only 25 minutes away.

It’s a safe, welcoming place where our family (and now our guests) can enjoy the outdoors, pursue their interests, and experience the restorative calm of the mountains.
