The Jenn House is a lovingly restored, historic building dating back to 1827. During the 2019–2020 renovation, great emphasis was placed on using eco-friendly materials, such as clay plaster, natural flooring, and so on. Many historic details have been preserved, making the house a true gem.
The interior of the cottage is thoughtfully designed and furnished with an eye for detail. The living room in the addition is spacious and opens directly onto the wooden deck, which is equipped with raised-bed flower boxes, a gas grill, and two comfortable lounge chairs and a parasol, among other things. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with everything you need; the bathroom and toilet have also been completely renovated. On the first floor, there is a floor-to-ceiling shower! The bedroom on the first floor has a small side room that can be used as a closet or a nursery—in fact, the house is fully equipped to accommodate children, from the high chair provided to the toilet seat reducer, as well as children’s games and books. The children’s room on the first floor is also furnished accordingly. The room in the large, open attic (not lockable)—featuring a fantastic freestanding bathtub in the middle of the room, another TV, exercise equipment, etc., and a very large double bed—can be used either as an additional bedroom or as a family room for relaxing or playing.
