Since January 2017, our Haus am See has been offering a very special holiday experience centered around water. The absolute highlight is the weather-protected Lake Lounge — a spacious covered wooden terrace with custom-made lounge furniture and a Weber gas grill directly above the lake. Let your gaze drift across the water to the mountains on the opposite shore — whether in the morning mist or under a glittering full-moon night. In front of the house — facing directly south — a sun terrace protected by a natural stone wall with wooden bench invites you to read and sunbathe. Inside, on the ground floor, Haus am See offers a spacious, light-flooded living/dining room with large dining table, comfortable sofa, and crackling wood-burning fireplace. The separate kitchen (like the living room with lake view) is fully equipped with dishwasher, steam oven, fridge-freezer, ceramic cooktops and espresso machine. The furnishings are deliberately pared back — warm wood tones combined with white walls and beams create maximum coziness. And if you ever tire of gazing at the lake, a small library, board-game collection, LED large-screen TV, DVD player and stereo system provide entertainment. A rustic wooden staircase leads to the upper floor with modern bathroom and generous sleeping area. In the bright bedroom with ceilings up to 4 meters high, you can gently drift into a restful sleep after an eventful day in nature — simply wonderful! If you’d like to relax with a good film, a flat-screen LED TV with DVD player is available in the sleeping area — and your luggage finds its place in the ensuite dressing room. In the garden — shielded from curious glances by tall hedges and bamboo — you’ll find your private sauna with a large window facing the lake. Set just above the lakeshore, the water feels almost within reach… And if the melody of “Haus am See” won’t leave your head, you should treat yourself to some time in our Lake Lounge — slowing down and relaxing, all in harmony with the water.
Haus am See offers a fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer combination, oven with grill and steam function, ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, toaster, blender, kettle and Senseo coffee machine (Nespresso available on request), along with pots, pans, knives, cooking utensils, dishes, glasses and cutlery, and features a private sauna in a separate sauna house next to Haus am See with views of the water plus an outdoor shower for refreshment, a bedroom with a king-size bed (180×220 cm) for restful sleep, central underfloor heating and a wood-burning fireplace for romantic evenings, as well as a covered lounge terrace with lounge furniture, gas grill and wooden table with chairs for enjoying the fresh air, complemented by an additional sunny terrace with bench and table in front of the house and sun loungers on the lawn around the property.
