The vacation home is situated in a beautiful location right on the Elbe River dike in the picturesque Kehdinger Land region. The ground-floor apartment is about 50 square meters and can accommodate 2 people. It features a living room with satellite TV and a radio/CD player. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, as well as a toaster, microwave, electric kettle, and a coffee maker. A small dining area completes the kitchen. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. The bedroom features a double bed. The house has a washing machine and dryer that can be used by all residents of the house. The house also comes with two bicycles, as well as six garden chairs, a table, and a grill. The bicycles and the beautiful garden are available for use by all guests staying in the house. Pets are allowed in this apartment; however, only non-dangerous dogs are permitted—so-called “fighting dogs” are not allowed.<br>Bed linens, dish towels, electricity, and heating are included.<br><br>The beach is only 100 meters away. There are good shopping options and restaurants in Drochtersen (approx. 5 km). The region offers attractive excursion and recreational opportunities.<br><br>Krausand Island on the Elbe – Altes Land: Krausand covers approximately 24 square kilometers and has about 450 residents. It is connected to the mainland by two bridges. A magnificent 3-kilometer-long sandy beach with many reed beds and willow trees invites you to swim, sunbathe, walk on the mudflats, and hike. The Elbe island is characterized by its many pastures and fruit farms—especially the cherry blossoms in the Altes Land. Nature reserves and a diverse bird life make nature lovers’ hearts beat faster. There are beautiful paths everywhere: The Elbe Cycle Route is a delight for every cyclist; the dike is wonderful for hiking; and the beautiful beach and mudflat areas are second to none. From the island, you can easily watch the busy ship traffic on the Elbe.<br><br>Nearby Attractions: Since the Elbe island of Krautsand lies between Hamburg and Cuxhaven, there are many beautiful destinations for vacationers to explore. Hamburg entices visitors with a variety of attractions (fish market, harbor, Reeperbahn, historic old town), while Bremen, Bremerhaven, and Cuxhaven are also worth a visit. The lovingly restored old towns of Stade and Buxtehude will fascinate you. Glücksstadt and the Kiel Canal are further highlights. Many museums in the surrounding area offer interesting exhibits.
