Our farm is located at an elevation of about 650 meters in the beautiful Bavarian Forest, on the border with Austria and the Czech Republic.
On our farm, we run a fish farm with trout from our own breeding program. We also have horses and Cameroon sheep. We have dwarf rabbits, guinea pigs, and cats for everyone—young and old, big and small—to pet and cuddle.
There’s no time for boredom on our farm, because helping out with feeding in the barn is always welcome if you’d like to join in. And your vacation really comes alive when you go horseback riding or splash around in the swimming pool. A trampoline, swing, and slide—along with plenty of space to play—are sure to make children’s hearts race.
The house features a cozy sauna and a large sunroom, which serves as a breakfast and lounge area for our guests.
From our farm, you can plan many day trips.
You can spend an eventful day, for example, in Passau—the “City of Three Rivers”—which is only about 30 km away. Or visit Pullman City, the Western-themed town in Eging am See, also just about 25 km away—a highlight for young and old alike.
If you’d rather explore the magnificent natural landscape of the Bavarian Forest, take a trip to the Bavarian Forest National Park with its large open-air animal enclosure, where you can still get up close to bears and wolves.
Hiking, skiing, or biking—it’s all possible from the Schmöllerhof.
