Private, Cozy and Quiet in the♥of Capital Hill

We encourage prospective guests to review our hundreds of 5-star Airbnb reviews, which accurately reflect this space. We only recently listed on VRBO, and unfortunately this guest arrived seemingly determined to find fault. Nothing we did improved their attitude or experience. Claims that this suite is “unsafe” are simply false and irresponsible. The suite is a half-basement space, clearly shown in the listing photos. The bathroom doors latch properly and have nothing on them that could cut someone. We inspected the space immediately after checkout and found nothing sharp, damaged, or hazardous. The guest provided no photos because there was nothing to support this claim. There is one single step from the entrance into the main living area, clearly visible in the listing. The desk/chair area they described as “dangerous” has 5 feet of space, and in hundreds of stays no guest has ever raised this concern. These complaints are exaggerated and disconnected from reality. The only legitimate issue was that a previous guest left a door open, allowing two moths inside. We acknowledged this and offered to resolve it immediately, but the guest refused access. This review is an attempt to manufacture problems where none existed. We cannot satisfy someone committed to being unhappy and honestly, unhinged. Our review history speaks for itself.
