This was a very remote house in a gated area. Joyce was prompt in responding to emails and answered my questions. Had the pleasure of meeting her husband upon check in and enjoyed his stories while he gave us the lay of the land. View from deck was amazing, but patio furniture was limited compared to photos in the listing. Rooms were very clean, but ceiling fan blades were very dusty. Overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay to attend a family wedding close by.

Our family of 5 had plenty of space in this property. The hosts were kind and we enjoyed talking with them to learn more about the area. It was a wonderful getaway to leave the hustle and bustle of our regular lives. We would recommend anyone who wants to slow down, relax in the beautiful nature, and those who enjoy exploring.

The view at this location is breath taking! We used google maps to get there and had no issues, but the owner did send very detailed directions also.We met the owner Michael when we arrived and he wasnt aware that we had booked the proprerty but he was incredibly kind. We met their chickens and theur cat. Who dies like to come into the house, so if you are allergic, please note that.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay. We put the hot tub location in our description on our listing and also have a map and diagram on the refrigerator. I do the same thing and don’t look through everything but we’re glad you found it. We always ask our guest to call us or let us know if they have difficulty finding anything using anything or just need assistance or have forgotten something. Thanks again for choosing to stay with us.

Thank you so much for reviewing us. We tell everyone the mileage and driving time from our lodge to Canon City. Your review reiterates that information. We always want to be a good fit for our guests. For those seeking peace, quiet, and spectacular scenery we are an excellent fit. If you want to be in the cities most of the time we are not - unless you also want scenic drives.
