Great house for our needs. Check in was easy and the host is very communicative and always available. Would definitely stay again. Easy walk to downtown and in a quiet neighborhood.

Great cabin with a tree filled backyard. There is an empty meadow behind and it has a ton of deer and wildlife. If you’re looking for trees and a sense of forest. This is a great option in McCall.

The cabin is bigger in person. The pictures make this cabin look really cozy, which it is certainly cozy, but it is very spacious and warm.

Overall, we had a good stay. It did not seem like the house had air conditioning, and we happened to visit McCall during a warmer weekend. At times, it was actually cooler outside than it was inside the house. The only way we were able to cool the house down was by opening the windows at night and using the fans that were provided in each room. This helped once the temperatures dropped outside, but during the warmer parts of the day the house could get pretty warm.The bed we slept in upstairs was very hard and uncomfortable. My kids stayed downstairs, and they also mentioned that one of the beds in the downstairs bedrooms was very hard and uncomfortable.For the price and the beautiful backyard views, though, we felt the stay was worth it. The kitchen had all the pots and pans we needed, but I would recommend bringing your own spices and seasonings.We also had some nice wildlife visitors during our stay, which was really fun to see and made the backyard even more enjoyable. The house is also close enough to town that you can walk if you want to.There were a few comfort issues, mainly the heat and the firmness of some of the beds, but the price, location, backyard views, and wildlife made it a good stay for our family.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay for our gathering. Easy walk to downtown McCall, plenty of room, outfitted well for dining in, and good neighborhood location. We would definitely stay again.

Great, cozy place

It's a really nice house with lots of room, well furnished and in a great location that feels somewhat wooded and quiet but is still quite close to downtown and the lake. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Our group thought the cabin was very nice. We especially enjoyed the recliner furniture in the main living room, and the kitchen being so well stocked for eating in rather than going out. Almost everything you could need, except a regular size slow cooker. The location is good, and it is a quiet neighborhood. We would rent it again if we had the occasion to do so.That being said, there are a few things that need attention:In the main floor bedroom the turn knob on one of the lamps is missing, so can't be used with plugging in and unplugging. Also, the night light in that room seems to work only when it wants to, which isn't often.The overhead light in the downstairs bunk room was not working.There is a "this home is dog friendly" sign on the large pillar in the entrance hall while the listing shows it is not dog friendly.Then from an elderly perspective:It would be nice to have a small chair or bench in the upstairs bedroom. They were very nice to have in the other rooms.Both of the bathrooms with tubs need to have a grab bar on the wall for getting in and out.The living room lighting is not adequate for reading.Two of the bedrooms have large denim type comforters on the beds. They were extremely heavy for us, and made getting in/out very hard.We had trouble getting the water on in the tubs/showers. It takes a very firm pull.The main floor bathroom doesn't have a light in tub area, and no exhaust fan, so some mildew was noticeable in the upper corner.

Cozy home away from home!

This rental was perfect for our group! Conveniently located close to town but with a secluded, forest-like setting. We will definitely consider staying here again for future visits.

Cozy and comfortable

Very clean and comfortable. Loved having all the trees around us. On quiet street but close to town. Had deer in our yard every day.

Overall great place

Really beautiful location & close to town! Checking in and out was super easy & would definitely recommend this place to stay! The one and only problem we encountered were all the sinks in the bathrooms were clogged and the water wouldn’t drain. Overall a really great place!

Our Fall stay

We had a wonderful stay, we loved the location and loved the sleeping arrangements and how they had plenty of space/beds. Front door knob was broken which made it hard to open from the outside, but besides that it was amazing!

Nice cabin right near downtown McCall, ID

The cabin was very clean and ready to use. It had plenty of sleeping space, lots of dishes and places for the family to hang out. We had 12 people and were very comfortable.
