Located on a quiet residential street in the beautiful key west neighborhood of casa marina just blocks from Higgs Beach, a low key paradise has a beautiful open layout, with views of the large private patio and heated pool visible as soon as you enter. Guests can walk to nearby higgs beach, and higgs beach dog park— perfect for your family member with fur! (dogs are welcome.) the hustle and bustle of duval street is just a quick 15 minute walk, or 5 minute bike ride away as well.

Throughout the house, you will find brand new, high-end tiles and crown molding, as well as brand new paint.
The master bedroom has a fully-renovated en suite bathroom that includes double vanity sinks, a luxury shower with ceiling-mounted rainfall shower head, a riverstone shower floor, tiled shower bench, a brand new toilet, brand new rubbed bronze fixtures and floor to ceiling tile. Additional amenities in the master bedroom include 47 inch wall-mounted hd tv and french doors leading out to the gorgeous patio and pool area. The second bedroom has a queen bed, full futon, hd tv, brand new, full, plush carpeting, and is next to the newly-renovated second bathroom with floor to ceiling upgraded tile, new vanity and sink, new toilet and new brushed nickle bathroom fixtures. A second large sitting area also has a full pull-out couch for more sleeping options. Enjoy the comfortable new living room furniture while reading a good book, or watching your favorite show on the 60 inch hd tv. Or if you want to enjoy the beautiful key west weather, head outside to your private patio and pool area, and relax by the pool, or sit at your private bar and watch the big game on your private outdoor hd tv, while surrounded by mature, colorful, tropical landscaping.

Additional amenities include wifi all-in-one printer/scanner/copier, and a porch swing and rocking chair on front patio.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Although we do not guarantee refunds for cancellations; in the past we have had a few guests' need/want to cancel their reservations for various reasons. We immediately relisted our house as available on VRBO and successfully rebooked the vacation dates every time-- making it possible for us to refund the original guest their deposit(s). While not a guaranteed return of money-- it has worked in the past!

We can’t say enough good about Emily’s property! She’s literally thought of everything you could need on your stay! We absolutely loved a that little back patio and bar. I already miss morning coffee listening to the roosters! Super responsive with any question I had - communication .We loved every second we spent there, we put over 300miles on our ebikes ( on a 2mile x 4mile island ) be boppin all around. Look forward to planning more time here!

Perfect KW home!

This place is fantastic - it has everything you will need and Emily is so kind and accommodating. The location is perfect as it is short bike ride to everything Key West has to offer while being in a quiet neighbourhood. I would definitely stay here again.

This house exceeded expectations. It was the cleanest and best equipped vrbo we have stayed at. Emily is a wonderful and highly responsive host. The location is great on a quiet street. The pool and grounds are very well maintained. It really is paradise! We will be back!

Wonderful property, Emily was great

We had a great time in this beautiful spot. It's a little ways from Duval St. but still walkable. Gives you the best of both worlds. Emily was a great host, checking in periodically, and everything was as we hoped it would be. Would love to visit again

I wonderful house to stay in

We could’ve not enjoyed our time at the house anymore than we did. The house was very comfortable within a day or two it just felt like our own place everything and it was beautiful and well kept. We will definitely come back.

I’m afraid to say too many good things about this place as we want to be able to book again in the future. The house was exactly what we wanted - plenty of space, great outside space and pool, and pet friendly. Loved our stay!

Perfect!

This house was perfect for our family. The layout is very nice with the two bedrooms being on opposite sides of the house. There are also two sitting areas which is nice, as well. The front area was a perfect spot where I could do yoga or read away from the rest of my family. The pool and outdoor area is a little tropical paradise. Close to many beaches. There is also a dog park we walked to almost every day with our pooch. Thanks for a great stay!!

Lovely property to spend COVID-tine

This adorable house in a quiet mid-town neighborhood has everything you need for a longer stay in Key West. The owners were easy to reach and quickly took care of minor maintenance issues. I practically lived on the back deck by the pool in the shade of a large coconut palm. Easy access to Higgs and Smathers beaches, and a short bike ride to town. Highly recommended.

Awesome Place to Stay

I've been coming to Key West for the past 10 years. This was the first trip I was able to stay for an entire month. We usually stay in Old Town and I was a little reluctant to stay past White St. but the location, house and trip couldn't have been better. It was a quick walk to Old Town and Duval when you wanted to party but it was easy to get away from all that when you wanted to. I had my car down there but very rarely drove it. The house was big and the patio was great for entertaining and grilling. We watched NHL playoffs in the pool and grilled out all the time. Emily, the owner, was one of the most responsive owners I've dealt with and we had zero problems with the property. This place is always booked but I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Owner and house were great. Emily responded quickly to our inquiry and we were able to see house before booking. House is cool and comfortable. Plenty of lounging room. You still get the Key West vibe in this residential neighborhood. Smathers and Highs Beach are close. It was a good month!

Beyond our expectations

Emily and Mikes home is so wonderful. The pool and outdoor areas are amazing. The pictures do the home justice. Sometimes on VRBO the pictures are at a certain angle that make it look bigger than it actually is. Not the case with this rental. Its spacious indoor and out, beds are very comfortable, i could go on and on!! Emily and Mike were so easy to correspond with and quick to get back with us. First day when we got in the pool it was cold and since its a heated pool, texted Emily and the pool gal was there within an hour. Could not have been happier with everything. Thanks you!!!!

A Gem in Key West

My husband and I just returned from beautiful, sunny, ultra-friendly Key West, where we spent four glorious months at "Low Key Paradise". This home is aptly named; we truly felt that we died and went to heaven! What sets this home apart from other rentals where we have stayed are the owners, Emily and Mike, and their direct contact with the renters, rather than a manager who acts as an intermediary. It's apparent from the moment you enter the house that Emily and Mike take great pride in their home. And this is reinforced by their accessibility throughout the rental period, just in case there is a minor problem. This home is extremely comfortable with two lovely bedrooms (the master has French doors leading to the patio), two updated bathrooms, a living room with a pull-out sofa bed, a bright, sunny dining area, a fully-stocked kitchen with modern appliances, a laundry room, and a family room which was our favorite indoor space. It has a sofa, a love seat, a club chair with ottoman, and a large flat screen tv. There are two sets of French doors along one wall which bathe the room with Key West sunshine, and bring the outside pool and deck area with tropical vegetation into view. The large outside space is unusual for Key West. Many rentals have small dipping pools and limited outside space. "Low Key Paradise" has a large pool surrounded by a huge deck where we lolled away the days in one of six lounge chairs. In the morning we enjoyed our coffee at the outside bar, while watching the news on the flat screen tv located above the bar. When not dining at one of the many superb Key West restaurants, we enjoyed our lunch and dinner at a large table on the patio covered by an awning. This became the favorite gathering site for cocktails and a barbecue with our family visitors and our many friends who winter in Key West. "Low Key Paradise" is in a quiet, safe, residential area of Key West and only a short walk to beautiful Smather's Beach. At sunrise each morning, we took a two mile walk along the ocean wall to enjoy the turquoise water, the graceful pelicans, and the shrimp boats in the distance. My youngest son called me "the customer from hell" when he was a teenager because I am such a demanding consumer. I am not one to lavish praise, unless it is well-deserved. Emily, Mike and "Low Key Paradise" deserve the utmost praise. And yes, we are returning to this gem next winter!

Amazing "Low Key Paradise"

My husband and I were able to enjoy this amazing Key West home for the entire month of August with our dog Papi. Mike and Emily were amazing hosts and attended to any small issue that may have arisen with an immediate response. This home is clean, comfortable, immaculate, renovated and painted with very cool coastal Key West colors!! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and the pool/bar area is fabulous for both relaxing and entertaining. We had a few friends visit, and they also enjoyed the home cooked meals, pool area and playing games at the outdoor bar, which also has a flat screen TV. The hosts also left impeccable tips, distances, directions and suggestions for anything at all that you would like to enjoy throughout Key West and many other Keys as well. We enjoyed many, many of their suggestions and appreciated all of the local knowledge. The last occupants who were residing there also left many tips and helpful information regarding restaurants, happy hours, sight seeing excursions and beaches. One of our favorites is Blue Heaven for breakfast/brunch and lunch as well as Kojin Noodle Bar which is fabulous!! Louie's Back yard is also a short walk or bike ride from the house and should not be missed on your trip to Key West. We really can't say enough positive things regarding our stay and this lovely home!! Hopefully Mike and Emily will allow us back for another visit ;0)

WOW!!! AMAZING HOUSE, AMAZING OWNERS, AMAZING VACATION!!! FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!

Stop your search and book this place NOW! You will thank me later. What can I say...when you drive up to this modest looking home, you are not at all prepared for what's inside. As soon as you open the door, you see the comfortable, pretty furniture, the big spacious rooms with gorgeous comforters and beyond comfortable beds, you see the 1, 2, 3 flat screen tv's WITH Infinity DVR's, you see the top of the line appliances and a kitchen with everything you need, you see the beautiful bathrooms and a rain shower in the Master, you see plenty of closet space, a kitchen table, nice flooring, a laundry room with plenty of towels and you get the bright and airy feel. THEN you go outside and you see the nice little pool with floats ready to use and a grill and a bar and another TV, you see 4 bikes and another dining table- wow, wow, wow. This house has absolutely everything and was the perfect location to either walk, bike or take a short drive to anywhere you wanted. We had our 13-year old son and our toy poodle with us and there was plenty of room for everyone. Once the tv didn't work in the living room and the owners were incredibly responsive in helping me fix it right away. They let us know that if we needed anything at all, that they were just a phone call away. We were there for a month and we felt right at home!!! Fell in love with Key West and can't wait to go back!!! Rent this house- I cannot even imagine anything else out there that would be comparable to what this house offers. Thank you, thank you!

From the unique restaurants and bars, to the beaches, to the small island feel that makes you forget you are in the United States, we knew we would be spending more time down here. We had been talking about potentially buying a vacation property for years, so we decided to just go for it. But we didn't want just any property - we wanted a home. We found this gem, charming, wide open, and just begging for a little TLC. We spent 3 months giving this home the kind of character it deserved. From high-end appliances and fixtures, modern conveniences, including large, flat screen HD Tv's inside and out, to brand new tiling and carpeting throughout, and of course, Key West beach colors throughout, we couldn't be happier or prouder of what we've been able to create. We can't wait to share this with you.

So you will get 100% of our attention. The one comment we've heard more than any other from our guests is how nice it is to deal directly with owners, rather than a large management company. Our promise to you - we want you to have a 5 star experience - if anything falls short of that, let us know, and we will fix it. Immediately. No questions asked. We have an electronic keypad that will provide access. We control it remotely, so you will be provided your own unique code that you request and it will be good from the day you arrive to the day you leave. So no stopping and wasting the first day of your vacation picking keys up at a management company. Drive right to the house, enter the code, and start your vacation. Even better, call Kathy at the Hip Tourist - (305) 292-3332, and she'll have the house stocked with groceries, flowers or anything else for your arrival. We went to great lengths to make sure that our home had a balance of top-end finishes as well as modern conveniences and comforts, while still retaining the Key West Conch charm that we fell in love with on our first trip. We are humbled at the amount of interest in our property, and the number of return guests in the short 2 years since we've listed (we've not yet had an open month). We believe it is a testament to the combination of luxury, charm and value that our home provides. All in the middle of the Casa Marina district, one of the most coveted areas on the island.
