Sobre o anfitrião
Anfitrião: Steve Brook
Our family has farmed this land in Parke County for five generations, and this farmhouse has been welcoming guests as a traditional bed and breakfast for the past 20 years, run with love by my parents. We've now taken over the next chapter, offering the farmhouse and barn suite as whole-house vacation rentals so you can create your own experiences and memories here. You may see us working the farm during your stay, that's just part of life on a working farm. We're always nearby if you need anything, but the property is yours to enjoy.
Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade
Our family has worked this land for five generations, and we can't imagine a better place to be. Parke County is a hidden gem: 31 historic covered bridges, Turkey Run State Park just two miles away, Sugar Creek for canoeing, Shades State Park, and the legendary Covered Bridge Festival every October. It's a place where people slow down, breathe fresh air, and reconnect with what matters. We've watched guests fall in love with it for over 20 years, and we still feel the same way.
O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
What makes Granny's Farmhouse truly one of a kind is its story. This rare 150-year-old Indiana farm property has been in our family for five generations, and the beautifully restored historic farmhouse sat at the heart of a traditional bed and breakfast for the past 20 years — that spirit of genuine hospitality is baked into every corner. Original pocket doors, rich wood trim, and sunrise farm views give it a character you can't manufacture. The adjacent barn suite, adds a rural, modern touch that sets the whole property apart. This isn't something you can replicate. It took 150 years to make.
