Vacation Home (Almost) on the Water Near Potsdam

A small stone house on a peninsula in a small settlement in Caputh, a popular vacation and health resort near Potsdam; all fixtures, fixtures, and furnishings are all as good as new; wonderfully suited for two people or a small family. The beach is 100 meters away, and other swimming options are also available. Various restaurants and cafes are located about 200 meters away, beautifully situated along the water. Nevertheless, it’s very quiet—you can barely hear the trains.

Approx. 50 m² of living space and a 250 m² garden
Two levels:
Ground Floor: Living room with wood-burning stove, 120-cm box-spring bed, desk, table, and chairs; kitchen with dishwasher; and bathroom with shower and washing machine. Entire first floor features electric heaters and electric floor heating.
First Floor: Small guest restroom; walk-through room with a 120-cm futon; small sitting area, bedroom with a 140 cm bed, walk-in closet, and dresser, electric heating
small covered terrace and approx. 250 sqm garden
2 train stations within easy walking distance, approx. 300 m away; shopping approx. 2 km away; 6 km by car to Potsdam; Werder, the “City of Blossoms,” 5 km (with thermal baths) Berlin/Kurfürstendamm 40 km
The house sleeps 3 and is therefore designed for two to a maximum of three people. Bed linens and towels are not included.
Two simple women’s bicycles would be available for 18 euros per bike per stay.
A daily electricity fee of 5 euros is included. If consumption exceeds this amount, an additional payment will be required. (50 cents per kWh)
The municipality of Schwielowsee charges a visitor’s tax of 2 euros per night per person (children are exempt).
If you’d like to bring your (small) dog, a flat fee of 5 euros per night will be charged.
These fees must be paid separately before departure.
The minimum stay is 6 nights.
