Tucked into the peaceful pine forest of Timber Wolf Resort, the Ranger Cabin offers a warm and welcoming escape just nine miles from Glacier National Park’s West Entrance. This cozy one-room retreat blends the beauty of nature with thoughtful comfort and natural beauty, making it the perfect basecamp for your entire family or group of friends to explore Northwest Montana. Nestled on 20 wooded acres, the cabin provides the serenity of the outdoors with the convenience of modern amenities. Measuring 12x12 feet, the Ranger Cabin accommodates up to four guests and features two comfortable double beds bunked with safety rails — ideal for families or friends traveling together. Inside, you’ll find cozy bedding, soft towels, a mini refrigerator for your essentials, a table with benches for dining or playing games, and a fan for those warm summer days. Step outside to your covered porch, where you can sip your morning coffee as sunlight filters through the trees or relax in the evening beneath the Montana stars by a warm campfire.  The Ranger Cabin includes a private picnic table and fire ring, perfect for grilling, storytelling, or simply enjoying the crisp mountain air. It’s an authentic Montana experience —simple, peaceful, and perfectly comfortable. Your stay includes electricity, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and parking for one vehicle, with overflow parking available for $5 per night for additional vehicles. Shared restrooms area are a short walk away and feature private, hot pay showers (50¢ for 10 minutes) that are deep cleaned daily for your comfort. An electric heater keeps the cabin warm and cozy during cool mountain nights, making this an inviting retreat in any season. Pets are welcome at the Ranger Cabin for a $30 per-stay fee, pets must be crated or kenneled if left unattended in the cabin (kennel rentals are available upon request) and pets cannot be tied up outside unsupervised.  The Timber Wolf Resort ExperienceTimber Wolf Resort is a family-owned property located in at the Gateway to Glacier National Park, surrounded by pristine forest. Accomodations were exactly as explained. We were looking for a night, not in a tent and this was perfect. Easy to find, comfy beds and quick check in and check out. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! The cabin was just perfect, The lots are well spaced out with lots of trees and foliage in between so there’s lots of privacy. The property is well thought out with nice amenities. The bathrooms and showers were clean as can be. Our hostess was kind and welcoming. I highly recommend! If we ever back this way, we will definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Really clean and well maintainedand planned in a way that it's easy to relax. Nice hot shower. Had i not had a sprained ankle i would have enjoyed it more but I would definitely stay in a cabin again.

Cabin was good. Very close to roads so a tad noisy. Trains and gunfire at night made for a tough night of sleep but the facility was super clean and nice and staff were super friendly.
