Sunset View is also great for anniversaries, family reunions, and weekend getaways. Enjoy picture-perfect sunsets and the following amenities: 5.5 bathrooms, and 7 bedrooms. The Sunset View property consists of a beautiful lake view, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, 2-story great room overlooking the lake, double sided fireplace in the great room & kitchen, laundry room, game room with pool table, multiple arcade games, a massage chair, and a bar. Sunset View also has flat screen TVs throughout the home (note: in every bedroom), DISH TV, and satellite internet service. An 8 person outdoor hot tub, pier, small sandy beach, a fire pit, a gas grill to enhance your outdoor fun.

Great for a large group getaway. Especially a golf trip as the house is 15 minutes from Northern Bay, and the multiple courses at both Sand Valley and Lake Arrowhead.

The property was as stunning as the photos and was stocked with everything from Ziplock storage bags and laundry supplies to firewood, plush towels, and bedding, along with many more amenities. Our entire family enjoyed the patio, hot tub, kayaks, lake access, two grills, multiple TVs, and the firepit, which we used every night to watch the breathtaking sunsets. This is a property that can be enjoyed in any season of the year. The host was also easily reached to answer any questions and helped with suggestions for the area.

Amazing property

Beautiful place to stay! Plenty of space for everyone. We were lucky to still have great weather near the end of October so we were able to enjoy the outside amenities as well. Truly a wonderful rental, inside and out!

A Great Christmas Weekend!

A very beautiful place. Communication with the property owner was great. The only thing I would say was a negative was the expectatio to have all of the towels washed and folded before check-out. Also, all dishes needed to be washed and put back in the drawers/cupboards. Normally, laundry and dishes are started, but guests don't need to wait until they are finished. This is very difficult with a 10am check-out time. Overall, a very nice house with the water toys included for use, including kayaks.

Wonderful views, family friendly

Great house for our annual friends gathering Gorgeous lake views and sunset. Spacious home and comfortable beds. Effort at updating can be seen. Some odd quirks of an older home but fit our needs well. Loved the hot tub. Well stocked kitchen, everything we needed. Wonderful stay and would come again!

Amazing!

The property is incredible and the owners were super responsive and helpful. We had a group of 14 spanning 3 generations, ages 3 to 83 and everyone had a great time. Lots of space so we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Lake was incredible - lots to do. Big tree provided lots of shade for those that wanted to be outside without going in the lake - comfortable even on the 95 degree days! Owners took care with lots of little details in the house making the stay really easy/comfortable. We cooked all meals and never felt like we couldn't find the right pots/pans or didn't have enough dishes (2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerator/freezers were super helpful). Thank you Pat!

Family Time @ Lake Petenwell

This was the first time for our family to stay in the Lake Petenwell area. We were looking for a large home to accommodate our group. The house definitely did not disappoint! It is newly and beautifully renovated with all top notch components and extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly think of! The owner was extremely helpful and nice to us! We definitely recommend.

Amazing family gathering home

We had a wonderful stay at this property with a family gathering of adults and kids ranging from 4-8. The house was recently renovated with high quality finishes and stocked with everything we could need. The owner was very friendly, accommodating and available for any questions during our stay, going out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and knowledge of the area. The kids loved the lake and enjoyed hours between the trampoline, lily pad and beach. And adults had plenty of outdoor space for visiting or lounging. We were also able to bring our fishing boat and utilize the lift onsite. The house set up works well for multiple families with 2 living spaces, multiple full bathrooms, comfortable beds and a spacious kitchen and dining area. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

The photos of the property do not do it justice! It was an outstanding home with an amazing location. Being on the lake with all the natural light shining thru and a warm wood burning fireplace was the ideal relaxation spot. Access to the lake for ice fishing was easy, if only the fish would've cooperated. The hot tub had more than enough space to accommodate 7 people. And the game room provided hours of friendly competition. We had one issue upon arrival, but were able to easily contact the property manager who arranged for the problem to be addressed immediately. The communication was phenomenal! Stellar service all around. We are already discussing plans to stay there again in the future.

Family Christmas 🎄

Enjoyed our stay was a little disappointed that there was no Christmas tree beings our stay was in December. It was big enough to accommodate our family of 7 siblings and spouses and with the U shaped couch we all fit, but couch was not comfortable to sit on for very long. Beds are great. Could have one more bathroom for the 2 bedrooms upstairs. Kitchen was great and supplied for almost everything you need. 10 o'clock is early for check out when towels have to be washed, dried, and folded before you leave. We are wondering if you get a discount for coming back the following year cause this place is large enough and in a central location for our families.

Generous Listing and Private

We had a wonderful time, but the padlock gave us major grief. I was able to call the owner at the number listed and he answered right away. He was generous with the firewood, which we didn't end up using as it was a rainy weekend. The lake was gorgeous, and the kitchen came fully supplied with crock pots and miscellaneous spices and ingredients. The owners also have the house next door which shares a driveway. They were there this weekend, but only spotted him when he was walking the grounds taking pictures of trees. More than likely for insurance purposes?

Fun Gathering Spot

We had another great trip to Lake Petenwell. We had plenty of space for our friends getaway with 15 adults. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room. We unfortunately had terrible rainy weather but still had a great time at the house. Thanks again!

Amazing Views with beautiful lake.

Large home, very well stocked kitchen . Large sectional sofa in living room but found it to be too deep for most & uncomfortable. Everything out side for your relaxation. Patio furniture, gas grill, fire pit & great hot tub. We were required to wash all towels before leaving premises, fold & leave on counter in laundry room. Would think a job for housekeeping. However, we all had a very enjoyable time and spent many hours outside enjoying the beautiful peaceful scenery and surroundings. I would use VRBO again in the future

Perfect for us!

Five couples met at this beautiful seven bedroom vacation home right on the lake for a weekend getaway. It was just as described and perfect for our group. We used six of the seven bedrooms. Although we didn’t need the seventh, it would be a great kids room with three single beds right off of the game room featuring a pinball machine, pool table and more. The other rooms all had Queen or king size beds that were very comfortable. The living room couch is very large and we were all able to gather there with plenty of room. The large windows allowed us to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets whether we were inside or out. The kitchen was well stocked with more than we needed. The two refrigerators came in handy. We used the grills one evening and enjoyed a local supper club the other. The hot tub was warm and ready to go. If warmer, we would have enjoyed the water. If more time, some of us would have tried harder to rent a boat and fish. Still a couple guys put a line in from the pier. We were all very pleased with the booking and would definitely go back.

Beautiful location but hot tub was not warm when we got there.

Mostly a great stay. A few adjustments could be made to make it awesome. Hot tub not on. No bathroom upstairs by extra bedrooms other then master bedroom's private bath. Have to go downstairs for a bathroom if you are not in private master bedroom.

We had an amazing experience at this cabin! It is stunning and clean. The accommodations are spit on they have everything and are so helpful if there is something you do need. We had 7 kods and 7 adults and not nice weather but we still had a blast. The kids played in the lake all day and night. The hit tub was perfect for the weather we had. I cannot say enough about this cabin and the managers and all who work to keep it clean!! No one wanted to leave! Thank you for an unforgettable vacation ❤️

Wisconsin Golf Trip

Our annual golf trip of 8 players took us to central Wisconsin to play 6 rounds over a one week stay. The Sunset View Vacation home was the only rental we could find that had enough bedrooms (7) that provided each person to have is own bedroom (with only 2 guys sharing one of the rooms). The location was ideal for our 10-minute drive to the highly-ranked Sand Valley Golf Resort, as well as our drive to other area golf courses. The amenities were plentiful, including a well-stocked kitchen with any appliance and utensils you would ever need to cook meals. The view on Lake Petenwell was spectacular, in particular, when viewing it from the 8-person hot tub. The game room and new poker table was topscale. Pat (the rental home owner) was great to work with, and was very responsive both prior and during stay. For those golf groups that prefer to stay until one roof, enjoying each other's company and cooking meals in (including 2 new gas grills), this is the place to stay. For those larger golf groups, Pat also owns a 6-bedroom vacation home right next door. Thanks Pat! Steve from Connecticut
