Located in the center of Ericeira, this apartment offers a great view over the rooftops of the historic center and the Atlantic Ocean. Just a few minutes from North Beach (Praia do Norte), it’s centrally located yet still in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access not only to the beach but also to bars, restaurants, and grocery stores.
Located on the second floor of a three-story building, this apartment features one double bedroom and another bedroom with two single beds. There’s an open kitchen and a dining area that opens directly onto the balcony, where you’ll find a grill and can enjoy the sunsets. The view and proximity to the beach are this apartment’s biggest selling points; you’ll soon get used to the constant sound of the waves crashing against the shore.

The apartment doesn’t claim to be luxurious, but it offers a comfortable space with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Some of the decor is vintage, featuring original pieces from the early 1970s. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a bathroom with an overhead shower. Towels and bed linens are provided.

The bedrooms face Ericeira’s main street. The windows were replaced in 2018 and are double-glazed. Light sleepers may still hear some noise, however.

If you are allergic to birds, please note that the neighbor has a fenced-in dovecote, which is naturally separated but visible from the apartment—and which children especially enjoy watching.

Please note: As of January 1, 2019, the local city hall in Mafra charges a tourism tax (similar to Lisbon and Porto) in accordance with Decree-Law 859-A/2018. This tax applies to all guests, except for children under 12 years of age and individuals with a disability of 60% or more. The tax is €2.30 per person per night from May through October (up to a maximum of 7 nights) and €1.20 in all other months.
