A quiet, thoughtfully restored beach house just minutes from the Boardwalk—designed for guests who want to enjoy Atlantic City without being stuck in the chaos.

Located in the Lower Chelsea neighborhood on the south side, The Chelsea House offers a rare balance: walkable access to the beach, dining, and entertainment, with the comfort of a calm, residential setting.

Originally built during Atlantic City’s Prohibition-era peak, the home has been fully renovated (2024–2025) to bring modern comfort into a space that still feels authentic, warm, and intentionally designed.

This is not a generic rental—it’s a curated stay with character.

Our stay was amazing! The house was beautiful, close to a lot of great places for coffee and snacks, close walking distance to the boardwalk and very quiet. The neighborhood was beautiful. You could sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee or a cold beverage without it feeling like you are in a loud city setting! Amazing trip

Everything went very smoothly during our stay. The host was very responsive. We loved the modern, clean home to stay in with lovely decor! It was so quiet at night and the beds we used were super comfortable. If we head back to AC, we would definitely want to use this rental again!

We loved this property. It was a short two blocks to the beach, on a nice quiet stretch without too many people on the beach. The house itself was immaculate and very comfortable. The property has nice amenities such as good beach equipment, a beautiful kitchen, tvs with streaming provided through lots of providers like Disney, fast wifi, and even a thoughtful welcome basket with goodies upon arrival. The beds were very comfortable, and it was great having remote controlled AC in each room so we can each be comfortable. The outside covered porch was also nice, as was the frequent visits by the neighborhood cat Rainbow. The kids loved the house, and we would definitely come back. David was also great and very responsive to any questions you may have.

We loved the location of this property - easy walk to the boardwalk/beach and walkable to Atlantic City and Ventnor City. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, too. The house is great - open concept downstairs with a great kitchen and large peninsula as well as sitting area. Three bedrooms upstairs are spacious. David was an attentive host, provided all the information we needed, and stocked the home with all the necessities. Will definitely return!!

Fantastic VRBO Stay! Perfect Location and Beautiful Home!The location is ideal, very close to the beach, and also fun to walk down the boardwalk to all the restaurants and shops. The house itself is beautiful inside, and the hosts truly thought of everything. We were impressed by the thoughtful touches like snacks and fancy shampoo in the bathrooms.The house was immaculately clean, and the beds were super comfy. We didn't use the kitchen, but it had everything you would need to cook a gourmet meal. The shower was amazing, and we loved that there was a bathroom on both floors. The wifi was speedy and easy to connect.There are all the beach items you need right at the house for a perfect day at the shore, and we had great parking too, which made everything so convenient. One feature we especially loved was that each room has its own individual AC. It was crazy hot outside, so coming back into the cool air was a blessing.The hosts were easy to reach and so kind throughout our stay. We also discovered, within a five-minute walk, an amazing ice cream shop called Juli Pink Ice Cream and a nearby coffee shop called Brewberry Cafe – they had the best Dubai chocolate crepe I've ever tasted, along with amazing coffee.Highly recommend this VRBO for anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway!
