Fantastic vacation home with garden, terrace, playground & e-charging station

Our vacation home (see also: “Ferienhaus-Paegelow” online), which sleeps up to 6 people, is located in the beautiful Kneipp spa town of Berggießhübel, which is a popular destination for spa treatments and relaxation thanks to, among other things, the visitor mine, the dam, our “Billy” water park, and the Median Clinic.
In the immediate vicinity, numerous hiking trails invite you to explore the countryside.
From Berggießhübel, you can quickly reach the district capital of Pirna or the Saxon Switzerland National Park.
The state capital of Dresden, with its many sights, is about a 35-minute drive away.
You can also take day trips to the “Golden City” of Prague or to the Ore Mountains, such as Altenberg (a mountain town) or Seiffen (known for woodcarving).

Our vacation home property is approximately 600 square meters in size and features two parking spaces, an 11-kW electric car charging station, a covered patio, a barbecue area, and a garden. The garden features a Hollywood swing, a playground, and a slide-and-climbing tower for our younger guests (use at your own risk).
The vacation home spans 3 floors and features a large open-concept kitchen-living area, 1.5 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms.

On the first floor, the spacious open-concept kitchen-living area, measuring approximately 28 square meters, offers plenty of space for cooking, dining, playing, or simply relaxing together. The kitchen area features a dining nook that seats up to 6 people, while the living room area offers guests a spacious corner couch and a height-adjustable coffee table—the perfect spot to comfortably read the newspaper or a good book, or even watch TV. From the living room, you can access the covered patio, which also leads to the garden and the parking spaces.
Also on the first floor is the bathroom, featuring a bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet.
The entire first floor—including the kitchen, living room, and bathroom—is equipped with underfloor heating; the rooms on the upper floor are heated by modern flat radiators.
For the home’s electricity supply, we’ve chosen a provider offering eco-friendly electricity generated from 100% renewable energy.

The two bedrooms are located on the upper floor.
One bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe; the second bedroom has two single beds and a wardrobe as well. Both bedrooms are equipped with a TV.
The guest bathroom, featuring a toilet and sink, is also located on the upper floor.

For groups of 5 or more guests, an additional bedroom on the second floor is provided; this room is furnished with a double bed and two wardrobes (flat-folding).

Please note that our municipality charges a modest guest tax, which is not included in the price.
In return, our municipality operates, for example, its own tourist information office, which will be happy to assist you in planning your vacation and offers numerous discounts through the “Saxon Switzerland” guest card.
