Located on the scenic shores of Lake Anna, this spacious family-friendly retreat boasts 500+ feet of beautiful shoreline and plenty of fun-filled recreational activities. Joyful amusements can be curated right from the comfort of your stay when you swing in the hammock or explore the shimmering lake using the provided paddleboard and water toys. Or, simply enjoy the precious view from the dock seating.

When you want to get out and explore the town and surrounding areas of Mineral, check out the nearby Beaver Dam Depot, HighPoint Marina, Blockhouse Disc Golf and Country Club, and the plethora of tasty eats and treats in town.

Inside your home away from home, rest assured that everyone will be content and comfortable as the living quarters are spacious, updated, and evoke feelings of warmth. We had a relaxing weekend. Nice property with nice location with a great view. We used the kayaks and did some swimming off the dock. Would have preferred a sofa with reclining seat in the main living room. We would definitely stay at this property in the future.

Perfect location for adults and teens to enjoy a quiet vacation by the lake. Amazingly stocked house with extra spices, blankets, pillows, pots/pans. Fabulous basement space, firepit, kayaks, fishing gear. Comfortable closed in porch with ceiling fans in every room. Table seating for the 10 of us. We’d definitely return.

This is a beautiful property that offers quiet relaxation at the lake. Great for kids to swim as there are no boat or jet ski rentals allowed in this area. We highly recommend this property to future renters!

A wonderful weekend getaway

I stayed here with my friends for a girls' getaway weekend and we had the best time. We all enjoyed peaceful morning coffee in the screened-in patio, lounging on the beach or kayaking around the lake in the afternoon, grilling and cooking together in the kitchen, and watching Love Island in the big living room. We can't wait to come back again next year!

All weekend we were blown away with the amenities and the location. The home is beautiful and the location is unbeatable. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun weekend getaway!

The property was incredible! A huge dining table that fit everyone, large couches, and a beautiful screened-in sun room. We loved having a private beach, a dock, and a firepit. The central AC was nice and strong with dual controls so everyone was comfortable. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this rental.

The fall leaves were so beautiful! The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the screened in porch. Thank you for opening your home to us so we could bring our little poodle with us! My husband enjoyed casting a line off the dock but didn’t have any luck. Still it was nice to enjoy the peaceful view!

Beautiful and pristine

One of the most beautiful and pristine homes we have stayed at in Lake Anna by far!!! Our kids loved it. One of the best stocked kitchen. The home was beautifully decorated.

The dining table for 10 was great! The master bedroom and bath was great! Beautiful view. Kroger and the Dollar General is close which is convenient.

Nice accommodation for our 10 adult weekend gathering

We were lucky to have beautiful sunny and warm weather for mid October. Water was still warm to swim and boating (rentals still open only on the other side of lake; have to drive 20min to our rental place). Very fun weekend.

Nice view but issue in the house

We stayed two nights in November. The heater wasn’t working properly and it was cold at nights. There was no access to the parking garage and the faucet water pressure was very low sometimes. Although the location was really good with nice view and very clean house.

Lake Anna Getaway

Beautiful location and view. Great fishing. House was nice with pool table that converted to ping pong. Cleaning could have been better. Arrival was an eventful process in a bad way. Getting the key was an awful experience, and the property managers were not as helpful as they could have been. I cannot recommend the property managers. More could have been done to help a problem in the process.

Nice Place

Our extended family enjoyed our week at this property. We have used several other rentals in the area and agree that this home has good space and amenities. The grounds are large and well maintained. One of the main reasons we chose this location is their dog friendly attitude. Our old beagle appreciated it. I suggest the listing be a bit more explicit in covering the equipment in the package, for example there is a K cup coffee maker that would have been nice to know. Contacting Vacasa help number to address a problem was not worth the effort. The pluses here outweigh any quirks. We all agreed that we would rent here again.

Lake Anna Cabana July 2024

The Lake Anna Cabana is a great vacation home. The house is as advertised. Pictures of the house and property are spot on. There is plenty of room for everyone to be together and play games/eat or spread out and relax. The kitchen is well stocked and the layout makes meal prep easy. (A crockpot would be nice). The bedrooms are comfy and the showers have good water pressure. There was plenty of soap/shampoo in all the bathrooms and kitchen. The central air kept the house cool even on the hottest days. The game room was outstanding. We played pool, ping pong, darts and foosball every evening. The property is large and has plenty of room for outdoor games. The private dock/boathouse was great. The water is deep enough for swimming and fishing. The boathouse is full of water toys and the covered area provides shade on hot days. The Lake Anna area does not have a lot of amenities for family outings, but the mini golf and ice cream shop were a big hit. Overall, we really enjoyed the Cabana and are already planning a retun trip

Fun even in the rain!

Our stay in June was wonderful! We were immediately impressed with this very clean and beautiful home! It looks exactly like the pictures. The owners take great care in styling each room down to the matching soap dispensers so when you stay here, you want to keep everything perfect! Beds were comfortable with lots of blankets/pillows. The window treatments were beautiful but no room darkening option which would have been nice in kids rooms. Our family group had a great time even with several rainy days. The house had plenty of room with lots of comfortable spaces like the screened-in porch. There were great views all the way around. The water was warm enough that we could swim in the rain and drizzle. The boat house was stocked with floats, life vests, paddles for the kayaks and fishing gear, even a mini fridge. One thing to note is that there is a retaining wall all the way around even in the sandy area. It's not a beach entry so you do have to help little ones in and out of the water. We were able to catch catfish right off the dock. Cooking was a breeze with the well stocked kitchen. There were nice knives, sufficient pots and pans, a good blender, and a nice waffle maker! They could use more bowls, especially for cereal so maybe bring paper bowls. And coffee drinkers should know the only coffee machine is a Kuerig. Overall, no major complaints with this house!

Beautiful views but improvements needed

The home itself was spacious and had lovely views. But there were a couple of deterrents that took away from our holiday experience. The property owners requested not to wear shoes throughout the home but the floors were not properly cleaned- our socks were brown within hours. Upon arrival, the basement counters were not cleaned and had sticky residue. Some of the kitchen appliances were not in proper working condition (broken microwave handle). The fireplace was a nice visual touch but not open for guest use- it would have been nice to know that in the listing prior to booking. Lastly, the biggest inconvenience was the water pressure was very low and sometimes no warm water for showers (frustrating when there are 8 adults getting ready in the morning). You also can’t run the dishwasher if the water pressure is low. We addressed the issue to maintenance and they did have someone come out promptly to look into it. And as a final suggestion, maybe consider removing personal effects like family photos to give guests a neutral feel as opposed to feeling like you’re invading someone’s home. Also- provide a digital code to use instead of a key as that can be difficult when there are several guests with different itineraries.
