Guests can relax in the living room, which includes a comfy couch for extra sleeping options. With two bathrooms offering showers and hair dryers, getting ready is a breeze. When you're looking for some fun, play the 1980s-style arcade games in the kids' room. The house stays comfortable year-round with heating and AC. The third bedroom is downstairs and is near the washing area that is shared by the upstairs renters. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring or enjoying time together indoors, this terrific home provides a welcoming retreat. You’re sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

Great apartment style property in a home environment. Stayed here 5 nights on business. House was clean and everything was there as they listed. Would definitely stay there again! Easy check-in and check-out and the hosts were very gracious!

Online listing was accurate. We enjoyed our stay in this very clean, quiet, comfortable property. Our host was amazingly responsive to all of my questions.

I had the best experience with this host. They communicated with us the entire time. That means a lot to us because we were very late in choosing a place for our family to stay. The place was extremely nice. The pac man arcade was a fun touch. There was plenty to do around town. We enjoyed a nice bonfire at the end of the night. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great spot for us, lots of sleeping options and the kids loved the vintage video games! The owner was quick to communicate and even brought over a blender when we realized we needed one for a recipe. All was clean and there was everything we needed.The only note I have was that it wasn’t clear that the bedroom with two queens is in the basement. Since the basement also houses the laundry used by the upstairs tenants, the door constantly locked behind you when going back and forth from the main floor. This was only mildly inconvenient. I felt like that wasn’t particularly clear in the description and was a little surprised by it.

I killed a cockroach 5 seconds after entering the property. The biggest problem was on the listing they didn't mention one ofbthe bedrooms was in the basement...would have been fine for teenagers but for our young kids it was scary and they would have had a very hard time finding us through a keypad controlled door and if the choose wrong they would be outside. Made for a very poor night of sleep on our trip. Nice decor, Pillows, sheets and such.

Our group of 6 teachers stayed here one night, mid-week. Zach is a great communicator and delightful to meet and talk with. There was a technical (website) glitch with the property address but it was remedied quickly, with help from his own family. The house is indeed a charming 1910 home - updated, clean, and cute. Another family lives above the vrbo rental but there were no issues with privacy or noise. The property location is in a residential area and is 2-3 blocks from a popular restaurant/bar and a few more steps and blocks from downtown shops and eateries. We loved this little place and will revisit the next time we're in Marshall for a time.

It was a quick trip for us. A family wedding in Marshall. This place was, clean, had easy access and the communication was great. Flexible which was so helpful. If anyone is looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay in Marshall! It brought back great memories of college days. The space was very clean and cozy. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels were all very soft and well kept. The kids [and husband] loved playing the retro PacMan game and enjoyed trying to get the top score. We weren't exactly sure based off the description if this property was the whole house or not, so we weren't surprised to find a rental unit upstairs when we arrived. The people upstairs were quiet overall but it is a very old house so the floors are just loud and creaky. If you are a sensitive person to hearing people through the walls (t.v./talking) or hearing feet walk around above you, it might not be the best fit for you. We didn't mind and felt it was just a part of the experience of being in an old house. The owners were great with communication and we would recommend others to utilize this space!

Janis, I understand your review score, but it's disappointing. Not only did we consider your concerns, we even refunded a night of your stay as a goodwill gesture. You found the toaster, we removed the clothing left in the dryer, we have taken care of the weeds in the front of the yard. All the best.
