Wiek also offers a variety of restaurants and boutiques for strolling and shopping, where you can pick up a souvenir or two. Another popular photo spot is the so-called “Floating Promenade.” The former chalk bridge now offers a magnificent view across the Baltic Sea all the way to the island of Hiddensee.
Of course, all other Rügen highlights—such as Cape Arkona, the chalk cliffs, the Sassnitz city harbor, Prora, and the Baltic Sea resort of Binz—are easily accessible by car.
