It was a great place! The only issue we had is we couldn't turn the heat up on the hot tub, and that could have been a user error lol. I would love to come back and stay a few days to enjoy thr wonderful porch! Cheryl was also awesome!

Thank you Kelly. I love this house also. Cheryl is awesome and I will make sure to tell her you think so too. It turned out the guest before you had actually turned off the hot tub and when it was turned back on it did not go directly back into the correct mode. Cheryl did send me a pic that the temp is now 104 degrees. So sorry you had to miss out on that. Next time you return I will approve a discount for your stay to make up for the inconvience. But fortunately, the house itself, even without the hot tub, is such a gem! I camt wait to go back myself!

We've stayed at many VRBO properies on our travels and this was one of my favorites! The location was great. It was so peaceful just sitting out by the fire pit or on the front porch listening to the creek. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. We were wondering why there was only 2 towels but found the towels in the dryer on day 2 lol. The house was charming, beautifully decorated and stocked with extras other rentals don't usually have like loads of toilet paper, trash bags, K cups and even firewood for the fire pit. That was very much appreciated!Bryson City is is a cute town and the railroad trip we went on was awesome! The leaves changing is one of my favorite things. So many beautiful places here to explore. Definitely a place we'd come back to.

We enjoyed hosting you and are so glad you consider our place to be one of your favorites! It is a special house and we love to take our getaways there as well. Glad you found the towels, we do have a note on the dryer stating to help yourselves to clean towels!

Our stay at The Birds Nest was absolutely incredible!! Although the pictures on line show a beautiful home they truly don’t give this place justice!! It is truly amazing and the front porch was awsome with cornhole. it is beautifully decorated and anything you think u need is there and more!! We all enjoyed the hot tub!! I was excited to see the 24 year olds playing board games and listening to the record player.. anytime we come back to Cherokee this will definitely be our go to place.. it was easy to get to as well even at midnight…

We had a blast at this cabin! There was so much attention to detail in the decor (so cute) and cleanliness! It fit our larhr family comfortably! We had a blast at the fire pit and hot tub. The neighbors were extra friendly! It was close to everything we needed! We loved sitting on the HUGE front porch and listening to the stream! The kids loved dancing to the record player. The best part was seeing hundreds of fire flies at dusk! We didn't want to leave! We will need to stay longer next time. Need at least 4 days! Can't wait to try fishing next time! Thanks!

Beautiful location and in the country. There is a smallish park 50 feet away providing ample space for kids to play. There are lakes and rivers 10 min away for tubing and spashing. The home has a long porch so you can watch the mountain wake up or enjoy a peaceful evening. The rear porch is screened in and has a grill available. In the back yard is a small pit perfect for smores. Inside the home it has an open concept making it easy for several people to engage with each other yet allows for small clusters of people chat or play games yet not be secluded from everyone. The large kitchen is fully furnished making meal prep easy. Our party had 8 people and it handled it very well. It was a pleasant experience that I would do again should I find ourselves in the area again.
