Home was beautiful, and exactly as advertised. During our stay we were able to utilize the fire pit and the grill which made for an excellent stay. Check in/out was very smooth and quick. House was very clean and had incredible water pressure! 4-minute drive from downtown Chillicothe, which is such a cute town filled with so much history. We drove down to Hocking Hills and went to some of the local state parks to enjoy the fall weather. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend :)

Not in the best neighborhood, but definitely the nicest house in the area by a long shot.

While the neighborhood is in an urban area with row homes, we love its location and ammenities, like the private backyard. I was hesitant to book this because of the few reviews but I’m glad I did. It is a freshly updated property in an old home. It is spacious, very clean, has new appliances and comfortable beds. We appreciated the snacks and waters left for us and would be comfortable booking this again if we were in town.

We found the Stone House to be perfect for what we needed for three nights for a family visit near by. We knew it was in a historic older section of town, near the closed paper mill. We are from Ohio. The house had a nice porch and was well maintained. It had historic character. Loved that there was a nice half bath downstairs. Beautiful wood staircase and railing. We didn't spend much time during the days there, but the TV room and recliners were quite cozy. The kitchen with big and was stocked well, as was the upstairs full bath. The queen beds were comfortable.We would rent it again when in that area.

The Stone House was an excellent stay. It was exceptionally well stocked and all amenities were excellent. The only comment I have is that the "fenced in yard" where pets should be able to roam free frequently has cats roaming about. For our dog this made it so we still had to have her leashed in the backyard and she was constantly trying to chase the cats that were there. The location is close to downtown and was very convenient for us as we were in town for a wedding. The host was super friendly and we had no issues with check-in/out.I would recommend this stay to others passing through or staying for a few days.

Happy to hear you had an excellent stay! We have tried to ensure guests have all they need, and maybe some extras, while staying at Stone House. The home is located in the city and unfortunately, stray cats are a common occurence. We resided in the home for 27 years and have never encountered an issue with allowing our dogs to be leash free in the back yard. Normally if there were any cats, they would run upon hearing the door opening. The yard is surrounded by a 6 foot privacy fence and latched gates to ensure pets are safe from ecscape. We hope that in the future should you visit Chillicothe, you, and your dog, would stay with us again. We would love to have you both! Thank you for your review of our listing. Safe travels.

This house was perfect for our vacation needs. We were close to the Sugarloaf Mountain theater - which was the reason for our visit. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. I also loved that it was pet friendly because we were traveling with our dog.

Sugarloaf Mountain remains one of the biggest tourist destinations in our area, and it is a great one! Happy to hear the house and location were perfect for your visit. We have our own fur babies and love that we are able to accomodate so the whole family can travel together! Safe travels!
