Welcome to Hesse, Germany’s most forested state 😀 We offer our guests a cozy 2-bedroom apartment with a living-dining area and a private bathroom with shower and toilet, located in the attic of our home. A refrigerator for small supplies is provided, as well as an induction cooktop and a microwave. The breakfast set—consisting of a coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster—rounds out the kitchen amenities, which do not include an electric stove. Bed linens and towels are included in the rental price.

Starting at 01.01.2026, the municipality of Frielendorf charges a tourist tax of €1.30 per day per person (ages 10 and up). The fee must be paid on site and will be remitted to the municipality by us as the rental property owner.

There are various shopping options in the immediate vicinity (Frielendorf and Schwalmstadt). Several delivery services offer a selection of meals.
The A49 and A7 highways are 15 km and 20 km away, respectively, and can be reached via the B254, which runs past the town.
Traveling without a car? A bus stop (with regular service to the Treysa train station) is right outside our door.
Our vacation rental is ideal for short stays for 1 to a maximum of 4 people. The beautiful half-timbered towns in the surrounding area are always worth a visit. Silbersee in Frielendorf, just 5 km away, is perfect for swimming in the summer, and in the winter, the Knüllköpfchen is not far away.
