Welcome to our cozy vacation rental, “Festungsblick Königstein”
. Located in the heart of Saxon Switzerland, we offer accommodations for up to 4 people (plus 1 baby crib if needed) for an adventure-filled stay or a relaxing vacation. You won’t even have to climb any stairs—just 5 steps to the elevator. With it, you can effortlessly reach our vacation apartment on the top floor. With the impressive views of Königstein Fortress, the Elbe River, and the Lilienstein, you’ll truly feel like you’re on a well-deserved vacation. The Lilienstein (415 m above sea level) on the other side of the Elbe seems close enough to touch and can be reached by taking a ferry and hiking 260 m uphill. You have the option of reaching many excursion destinations and sights without a car, yet still comfortably, via public transportation. The bus stop and train station are within walking distance. We recommend visiting the famous cities of Dresden, Meissen, Pirna, or Prague. There, you can also admire the historic views made famous by Canaletto’s paintings. For example, in Pirna, the view “THE MARKET SQUARE IN PIRNA,” and in Dresden, of course, the famous “CANALETTO VIEW.” If you’d like to rent a bike, you can book one at the bike shop right next door. After a busy day, you can treat yourself to a delicious ice cream sundae at the highly recommended café around the corner. There are numerous attractions in the area for guests of all ages to discover. For example, the “Festungskraxler” departs several times a day for Königstein Fortress. The “Langenhennersdorf Rock Labyrinth,” a must-see for children, is only accessible by car, however.



Vacation rental, 2 bedrooms:

All rooms are newly furnished with high-quality furnishings. You can enjoy breakfast on the balcony in the morning sun while taking in the view of the Elbe Valley. One bedroom is equipped with a waterbed (2 m x 2.20 m) and a sliding-door closet. The second bedroom has two single beds (90 cm x 2.00 m). These can, of course, be pushed together if needed. The open-concept kitchen is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, waffle maker, and other amenities. A large, modern dining table offers plenty of space for all guests and allows you to end the day comfortably with a shared dinner or a game night. In the adjoining living area, you can then relax in the evening on the spacious and cozy genuine leather couch. And recharge for the next day with a glass of wine in front of a large curved TV. The spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower rounds out the ambiance. All rooms are equipped with underfloor heating.
