The Space:

Take in the panoramic view of the ocean and the beach from your private balcony at one of Ocean City's most prestigious addresses. The oceanfront living room and master bedroom create the total indoor/outdoor experience. This oceanfront condo provides every luxury you could want for your vacation, including high-end furnishings and bedding, a gourmet kitchen with a wine cooler, central air conditioning and free WiFi throughout, a full-size washer/dryer, and a total of four TVs and one DVD player (including a curved Smart TV in the living room that's equipped for your Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon accounts).



Situated along a peaceful stretch of coastline, the Gateway Grand is the pinnacle of luxury and comfort, offering a prime location on the ocean block at 48th Street. You'll have access to a host of first-class amenities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness room, and a kids' game room with board and video games. Head down to the sand to find 250 feet of sparkling beachfront for a day of sun and surf, or stroll to a number of popular shops, activities, and restaurants in the surrounding blocks, including Fager's Island, Seacrets, Dead Freddy's, Macky's, and the Ocean City Brewing Company. The famous Ocean City Boardwalk begins just one mile south as well.

The Gateway Grand has an HOA-mandated seven-night minimum

Please note that a A $151 non-refundable admin fee is due at check-in at the building. This fee provides access to the building amenities and 2 parking places.

EV charging is not available/permitted on the premises. Doing so is cause for removal. There are charging stations at 100th St. bayside, 40th St. bayside, and at Royal Farms and Wawa in West Ocean City.



Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Great family vacation!

The condo was in a great location, had great views and was large to not only accommodate 6 adults, but had ample room to spread out for some alone time as well! Would highly recommend for the awesome ocean views and easy access to the beach!

If looking to unplug

The WiFi was very limited. Although it could be that the building as a whole doesn’t have great service. We were in SOS mode on our phones when in the room so were unable to place or receive calls until leaving the building. The location is great and the unit and building are exceptionally clean. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Gateway Grand! Everything was clean and we felt safe during COVID. The unit’s kitchen made it easy to prepare meals so it wasn’t necessary to go out into the crowds. With having the beach right there we hardly left the property! Everyone slept great even my younger kiddos. Thanks for sharing your beautiful condo with us for some well needed time away!

Condo is on the beach, three bathrooms and three bedrooms. Plenty of storage space such as a pantry. Bring your own beach chairs. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and Dumsers. Location is nice. Airshow was enjoyable.

This unit has an awesome view and is in a great location. It is well maintained and beautifully decorated. It is well equipped and extremely comfortable. The building property is very secure, clean and has several nice amenities. I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

Stay was ok, space was great, multiple maintenance issues

Overall, a decent unit however I will not be booking again. Multiple problems that could easily be fixed, including non-accessible WiFi, what I think we’re dead batteries in the remote for the master bedroom light/fan, bad water pressure in the shower, trundle bed not accessible due to a dresser in the way, error messages flashing on both mini and large refrigerators.

We stayed at the Gateway Grand on 48th Street at the beginning of December. Vantage was amazing. They provided a thoughtfully packed kit of welcome `essentials` and had the unit spotlessly prepared. It was beautifully decorated and the beds were as comfortable as ours at home. There was so much space to spread out, and the view is incredible. Perfect location; it is right on the beach and we were able to walk to dinner at Dry 85, ice cream at Dumsers and to the movie theater. Ocean City is lovely and laid-back in the off-season. We can`t wait to go back! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Decent stay

The condo itself is nice, very clean. Little issues added up quickly however, WiFi was all but nonexistent. I had to go onto the balcony to make any phones, send any messages, and I was the only one of my group of 7 that was able to use my phone even on the balcony. Water pressure in showers was not great for anyone with thick hair. The trundle bed in the first bedroom was not able to be used as when we tried to pull it out, the dresser was in the way. Both large refrigerator and small were in need of filter replacement/flashing an error message all week. The fan/light in the master bedroom was also not working.

Every single person we encountered, from booking our stay to the day-before welcome call all the way through checkout, was knowledgeable and professional! Our getaway was as fun as we`d planned because our accommodations were so comfortable and perfectly located. The unit was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, large in scale, and offered a magnificent view. Parking was secure and abundant, and late check-in was a breeze. Stay here for the convenience of having rooms for everyone plus kitchen and laundry...and be dazzled with the luxe-yet-cozy accommodations. I could gush on and on and will recommend to friends. OC Vacation 2019

Nothing but top-notch all the way. Totally loved Gateway Grand 410 with everything as described and more. Vantage Realty was helpful and professional as well as the staff at Gateway Grand. Furnishings and amenities were so lovely and high end. We had everything we needed to sleep well, cook meals, make smoothies which my granddaughter could not do without, walk and swim at the beach, morning coffee watching and listening to the water fun. Of course, my favorite thing was listening to the waves and watching the sunrise in the morning. A few light bulbs were needed but, hey, how minor is that. Only a few beach toys but, again, not a big deal. Thank you so much for a fantastic vacation. Hope to be back at 410 next year!

Fabulous Stay at the Gateway Grand!!

We stayed in unit 410 at the Gateway Grand last week. The property and unit were both amazing! The unit was the nicest vacation rental that we have ever stayed in. There we were, right on the ocean with a beautiful balcony. The decor of this huge three bedroom/three bath condo was beautiful. Everything seemed to be brand new - granite kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, flat screen tvs, and laundry room. Everything that we could possibly need was there for us. The Gateway Grand is a beautiful, ocean-front property with great amenities. We used the indoor pool and exercise room. The location at 48th street is perfect to get to where ever you need to get to in Ocean City. The parking garage onsite takes all of the stress out of parking. Vantage Resort Realty was fantastic. They made everything so easy. Checking in and out was a breeze. Their customer service is outstanding!!!

OC Vacation Wrap Up

Gateway Grand is at a great location for beach and entertainment. Views from balcony are superb. Home is very well appointed with ample kitchenware including nice wine glasses. Master bath has great shower and plenty of space. Furniture could be updated though in master bedroom and living room. Bed in master bedroom sagged and made so many creaks and groans. We were disappointed. Closet spaces were very generous. Cooling was not balanced as master bedroom got colder than other bedrooms. Storage area for beach items contained in locker that required use of two elevators to access and then a separate freight elevator to move items down a level to access side entrance. On balance, only the beachfront location made up for the inconveniences and high price.

Absolutely Beautiful- Best Rental at the Beach

This unit has it all- incredible beachfront location in a gorgeous building with amenities, beautiful views and ocean breezes from large balcony and master bedroom, gorgeous furnishings and finishings, perfect layout for families and is well-appointed with every single thing you'll need for a beach vacation. Our family of 4 kids (including 2 teens) could not have been happier with Gateway Grand Unit 410. It is brand new, spotless and impeccably decorated. You would never know you are in Ocean City, which is a positive as far I'm concerned! Yet you are in a prime location across from Dumsers, Secrets, Candy Kitchen- so much in walking distance! I could go on and on about how well-equipped the kitchen is- sharp knives, good wine glasses, both a regular coffeemaker and a Keurig- even a wine fridge! I've never seen such a thoughtful collection of needed kitchen items in any other rental. There is a full-sized laundry room as well- even the laundry room was perfectly equipped with numerous hanging racks and hooks. The two kids bedrooms are situated as you enter the unit, each with full baths- providing adults with privacy and views :) The master bath was spa-worthy and spacious, and master Bedroom has large his and her closets. We would be very very comfortable for a 1-2 week beach stay in this layout. For those who can't unplug from work or reality, there is a nice desk area in the kitchen, wifi, and smart TVs in every room. The Gateway Grand kids game room has several video game systems that our kids enjoyed and we loved the indoor pool. The fitness center is excellent, on par with a top hotel and means you won't need to factor in a week long gym membership if you are fitness nuts like us! While it was too chilly for sunbathing, the beach outside the Gateway Grand was some of the best shelling we've seen in years! Lastly, the property management team was very accomodating despite my mix up about late check in directions. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely unit. Not so lovely check in

Great location and nice home. Lovely views. I cannot imagine having 11 in this space, but we were comfortable with 6 adults. The employees of the Gateway Grand were very kind and friendly. Our move in was less than desirable however. We weren’t given any key fobs upon checking in and were told parking passes and fobs were given at the location. We had to then rush back down the street before the office closed and had to also talk them into giving us two fobs (even though two are listed as part of the rental and needed anytime you enter the building or parking garage). We arrived in our room at 650pm (almost 3 hours after check in is allowed) and our towels and sheets were in bags on the floor of one of the rooms. Shower curtain liners were very dirty, vents and fire alarms extremely dust covered and it was evident the cleaning was done quickly as there was food and even an Advil on the floor. Two lightbulbs were also out in the unit. I couldn’t reach anyone that evening by phone and got standard response emails back and spent the first hour of my vacation making beds and distributing towels to each room. The sheets are definitely not high end but were fine. We had problems with two bathroom shower drains not going down and had maintenance visit twice during the week. These requests were accommodated quickly but this was also after I finally reached someone and voiced our move in frustration so they seemed more willing to help. Closets were spacious but filled with tons of bags of random extra linens. I was also surprised that we did not have basic items such as extra kitchen trash bags, paper towels and more than 3 extra rolls of toilet paper. We would probably stay at this location again but would need to have conversations with the rental company to ensure certain things were addressed on our next visit.

Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. Good but a few things

We stay at the Gateway Grand every year, but this is the first time in unit 410. We are used to everything running smoothly but this trip was different. We were early in the season (May 2021) but had a few issues along the way. The rental office: didn’t give us one the key to the storage locker so we had to make a trip back to the rental office to pick up the key. Then, there was no locker number on the key so we had to call again for the number. When we found the locker, the key didn’t even work, we needed a code, so we had to call once more. Not a huge deal but all the trips, calls, waiting on hold, and leaving messages when we are dressed and ready to go to the beach is a little annoying. When we finally opened the storage locker, there were only 3 chairs. 1 chair was broken and no umbrellas, sand toys, etc. we are used to having these items with other rental units so make sure to plan ahead. Next, dishwasher leaked all over floor so we had to call for maintenance twice. They did send someone later that day but wasn't thrilled to have a repairman in our rental when we weren’t there with covid and all. There is a small table and four high bar-style chairs on the balcony so not the most comfortable or relaxing. Even plastic chairs lower to the ground would’ve been better. Kitchen pans could use replacing. Place was very clean. Left a few items behind and emailed twice to have them shipped but never received a response from the rental company. Otherwise, Gateway Grand itself very clean and quiet. If we were to return to Ocean City, I’m not sure what we would do. The lack of responsiveness by the management company is concerning. We would definitely not return to this unit, though, not without a few improvements.

Hi, Natalie! We apologize you were unhappy with some aspects of your stay. Pots and pans will be replaced if needed during inspection. We do suggest guests bring their own beach chairs since they are not an advertised amenity for this home. Thank you so much for being willing to give us another chance. We do hope to see you again!
