Dingolshausen is located at the foot of the Steigerwald, which offers beautiful hiking trails, such as those leading to the Zabelstein or Stollburg. Gerolzhofen is only about 2 km away. From there, you have direct access to the B286, which takes you to the A3 Wiesentheid interchange or the A70 toward Schweinfurt in about 20 minutes. In Gerolzhofen, you’ll find a large parish church, the Steigerwald Cathedral, a well-preserved city wall with several towers, and a lovely tree-lined avenue perfect for strolling along the city wall. For sports and wellness enthusiasts, the Geomaris Family Water Park is a great option. Within a radius of about 15 km, you’ll find Volkach, Nordheim, and Sommerach with their beautiful vineyards, or Prichsenstadt with its lovely city wall. Within about an hour’s drive, you can visit Würzburg, Bamberg, or Nuremberg as day trip destinations. A deposit of 50% may be charged after booking.
