We rented because this cabin was on the lakefront. That was the best thing about this property. The bathrooms were clean. The bedrooms were clean. The windows looking out onto the lake were clean. The screens were all intact and the hot water was plentiful. We found none of the furniture comfortable, including the beds and even the folding chairs on the deck. The cooking utensils were old, rusted and completely inadequate. The second day we were there we found that a mouse had eaten through the bag of cereal and one of the apples on the counter. The house is in the woods, mice can be a problem in the woods. We believe that you should solve that problem if you’re going to rent your property. We had rented for a week but left two days early. We did not consider the condition of the property worth the cost of the rental.

This cabin was a nice quiet spot to spend a few days, right in the lake. Lovely sunrise & sunset views. The cabin is clean and well stocked with all the necessities in the kitchen. We received quick responses to the few questions we had. Would definitely book again in the future.

Great Maine camp.

Great traditional Maine lake camp in a really great location. We had a very relaxing and fun week. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for fun, quiet and a beautiful lake.

Peaceful and convenient

Very peaceful yet close enough to everything we wanted to do. Kayaking moosehead lake, hiking Baxter state park, visiting the local towns and shops and exploring the northwoods!

Very peaceful and serene. Great getaway and location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Experienced moosehead lake and hiking Baxter state park and the surrounding northwoods.

Perfect lakefront cabin!

The cabin was adorable, and the view was breathtaking! It was nice to unplug and relax right on Moosehead Lake. The area was secluded, calm, and quiet. The deck and dock were especially great!

Great Spot

The swimming is great and very easy access for kayaks. The remote location is wonderful for unwinding and the sunsets are beautiful. Lots of loons this year.

Comfy rustic lake cabin

Don’t tell too many people, but this cabin is to die for. Feels very isolated though you’re close to Greenville and right by Lily Bay State Park. The deck and dock were perfect hangout spots. Bright with great views through big windows. Would buy it if it were on the market!

Charming cabin on the water with a spectacular view over Moosehead Lake and its islands. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves rolling onto shore was lovely. So peaceful!

Loved the Location!

The cabin was perfectly adequate for our needs, as we were traveling with our 2 year old Golden Retriever puppy. The cabin was totally equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed The Cabin was in a perfect location to explore the surrounding area around Moosehead Lake and Lily Bay State Park, only two miles away from our Back Point cabin. Great swimming and hiking in the immediate area.
