Alte Goldschmiede Südpfalz

Our vacation home, “Alte Goldschmiede,” in Klingenmünster in the Southern Palatinate is a design-oriented, lovingly furnished house with a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Our home is located in the beautiful Southern Palatinate—often called the “Tuscany of Germany” due to its frequently sunny weather. The French border is just ten minutes away. The beautiful French town of Wissembourg is a fifteen-minute drive away.

You enter the house through the courtyard gate and the typical Palatinate courtyard. On the first floor, you’ll find the first bedroom as well as a living room with a large sliding window opening onto the terrace and inner courtyard. A modern wood-burning stove makes the room incredibly cozy, even in winter.
The former goldsmiths’ studio now houses a fully furnished study with a view of the playground across the way and the trail leading to Landeck Castle.

The old oak staircase leads to the first floor. On this level, you’ll find two bedrooms, a small bathroom with a rain shower, and the large, modern kitchen with a kitchen island and a dining area in the sunroom. Between the dining area and the kitchen, a large balcony invites you to barbecue or simply relax.
The high-quality kitchen offers every amenity imaginable for a relaxing vacation: an oven, an induction cooktop with range hood, a fully automatic coffee machine, a refrigerator, and a large freezer. The kitchen is spacious enough for even larger groups to cook together and spend time socializing.

The large dining room, featuring an extendable dining table, offers ample space for everyone. Two high chairs are available.

The bathroom, featuring a rain shower, large mirror, and high-quality fixtures, is located between the bedrooms and the kitchen.

On the second floor, there is another double bed. The wool rug and the large new skylights give the room a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The spacious “master bathroom” with a rain shower and bathtub invites you to relax.
Accessible via a ladder and located above the bathroom is another sleeping area for children and the young at heart. Let the adventure begin! The catamaran nets are perfect for chilling out and playing.

In the courtyard, under the linden tree, is a hot tub that seats up to four people. Here, too, you can relax comfortably in both summer and winter and then enjoy a glass of Palatinate wine on the terrace.
