FAQ: 2-steps required to access front door, 2 exterior security cameras (outward facing) and doorbell camera

We look forward to hosting you at Casa Azul! We do require an electronic rental agreement to book this property. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. For the safety and security of our guests, there are cameras overlooking the front and back entry doors that record with motion, as well as a doorbell camera. You must be in good standing to book with us and have positive rental history and reviews. We do not rent to local Lubbock residents.
Early Check-In & Late Check-Out (Subject to Availability) Early check-in and late check-out MAY be available for an additional fee of $20.00 per hour, for up to 2 hours. Early check-in: Payment must be submitted before 12:00 PM on the day of arrival. Late check-out: Payment must be submitted no later than 10:00 PM on the evening before departure.
**Please do not have mail sent to this property as we do not have the mailbox keys. If you are needing something delivered from USPS, you will need to contact the local post office to make pickup arrangements.**
Parties, events, and large gatherings are strictly prohibited at this property. If there is any violation to this policy, a fee of $500 will be charged immediately.
This property is NOT pet friendly so please plan of leaving your furry friends at home. There will not be any exceptions to this policy due to the owner's severe allergies and a fee of $250 will be automatically applied if you are caught in violation of this.
We supply freshly laundered linens, bedding, and towels for all of our guests. We also supply paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand soap for a short 2-3 day stay. Long-term stays will need to replenish latter items at their own expense. Although often there will be a variety of condiments, such as coffee, etc., we cannot guarantee what will be available.
Guest Access:
Check-in information, including the keypad code, will be sent the evening before your check-in date as long as the check-in form has been submitted. All areas of the house are available to guests with the exception of the locked cleaning closet.
The Neighborhood:
This home is located in the Maedgen subdivision in central Lubbock. You will be close to grocery stores, shopping, and dining.
Getting Around:
Lubbock is a large city in terms of land size, so a vehicle is recommended for your stay. If you don't have a vehicle, you can get away with using either Uber or Lyft rideshare services.

- Photo ID may be required upon check-in
- We reserve the right to refuse early checkout alteration requests for stays less than 30 days
- NOTE: Your safety matters. The property features 2 exterior security cameras located at the front door and on the back of the home facing the front entry and the backyard. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion. There is also a doorbell camera.
Host-Initiated Cancellation Policy While we make every effort to honor all confirmed reservations, there may be rare instances where cancellation is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that we must cancel your reservation, the following terms apply:
Full Refund: Guests will receive a 100% refund of any payments made toward the reservation.
No Additional Liability: Our responsibility is limited strictly to the refund of monies paid. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred by the guest as a result of the cancellation, including but not limited to alternative accommodations, transportation, or other travel-related expenses.
Best Efforts to Assist: In the event of a cancellation, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative accommodations within our property network, if available, but we cannot guarantee availability or rates.
Force Majeure Clause: We reserve the right to cancel the reservation due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to property damage, utility failures, natural disasters, or changes in local regulations that affect short-term rentals. Sale of Property: In the event the property is sold prior to your scheduled stay, and the new owner chooses not to honor future reservations, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. In such cases, you will receive a full refund of any payments made, but we will not be held responsible for securing alternate accommodations or covering any associated costs.
Removal from Rental Market: We reserve the right to cancel reservations if the property is permanently or temporarily removed from the short-term rental market for any reason. Should this occur, a full refund will be issued, and no further compensation or liability will be assumed. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
Interaction with Guests:
Our interaction with guests is very minimal. The front door has a keypad so that you may let yourselves in and out. Please only use the keypad lock to lock the door. Do not lock the bottom lock on the front door. Should you need anything during your stay, please message us and we will be happy to assist.
