Mid-Century Lake House; Hot Tub, Dock, Sleeps 12

Swimmable lake, private dock, kayaks, hot tub, fire pit, and a large deck overlooking the water. Walk-out basement and four bedrooms sleep 12 comfortably; plenty of room for 2–3 families. Multiple living spaces inside and out mean everyone has somewhere to land without being on top of each other. Original 1955 mid-century architecture; open layout, clean lines, thoughtfully updated. On a south central Michigan lake that comes alive in summer.

**Quiet hours are 10pm–7am. Music and outdoor activities should wind down by then. We appreciate guests who help us keep great relationships with our neighbors.**

--The House--
A 1955 mid-century ranch on two levels, with enough space that 2–3 families can coexist without coordinating every move. The main level and walk-out basement each have their own living area, dining space, and outdoor access. Adults and kids naturally end up with their own zones.


--Main Level--
The living room anchors the main floor with vaulted ceilings, a large stone fireplace, and a TV. It opens directly onto the deck, making inside-outside flow easy throughout the day.

The kitchen is partially open to the living area with a breakfast bar, large enough for a group to cook together, anchored by a 48" luxury refrigerator. The adjacent dining area seats 8.

The main-level deck runs along the back of the house overlooking the lake, with seating for 12 across dining and lounge areas, a gas grill, and a Big Green Egg.

There's also a full laundry room on this level.


--Main Level Bedrooms--
The primary bedroom has a king bed and a private en suite; a retreat within the house for one couple.

The second bedroom has a queen bed and a convertible sofa, plus a desk with a monitor for anyone who needs to check in on work. A full hallway bath serves this bedroom and the main living area.

--Lower Level--
The walk-out basement has its own full living room with a gas fireplace and TV, a dining table for 4, a kitchenette with a full-size fridge and sink and a full bath; a self-contained floor that works well as a kids' domain or second family base. Two bedrooms are on this level: one with a full-size bunk bed, one with a full-size bunk bed and a queen.

--Outdoor Living - Lower Level--
A covered outdoor living room sits just off the basement with a TV and hot tub. The fire pit is steps away. A large flat yard extends toward the water with open lake views.


--The Lake--
The property has a private dock over sandy-bottom water; shallow at the edge (around 2 feet) for young kids, deep enough off the dock for swimming and jumping. Two kayaks are included. The lake is active in summer with boating, swimming, and fishing.
