Yalova - the pearl of the Sea of Marmara at the gates of Istanbul

Are you looking for a vacation spot where you can enjoy all the benefits of a big city while also experiencing peace and quiet, seclusion, and the sea? You’ve found it. If that’s not enough for you, the area surrounding Yalova also offers interesting options to explore and spend time in, such as the thermal springs or the region’s largest freshwater lake—Lake Iznik. Day trips to Istanbul and Bursa are also easily accessible from here.<br><br>We’re renting out an apartment with two guest rooms within a spacious penthouse in the heart of Yalova. Despite the central location and immediate proximity to the marina, the minibus station, and the ferry (approx. 250 m), you can relax here and enjoy a peaceful stay. As a German host, I’m happy to be on hand to offer advice and assistance if needed. Of course, during your stay, you’ll have access not only to the guest rooms but also to the kitchen, living room, exercise room, and rooftop terraces.<br><br>The apartment has 2 guest/bedrooms. The classic guest room features a double bed and is located on the lower floor of the apartment. There’s also an attic room on the top floor, which has a sofa bed that comfortably sleeps 2 people. Although the attic room is small, it’s the most beautiful room, as it opens directly onto the seaside rooftop terrace and offers a fantastic view across the Sea of Marmara toward Istanbul and Gebze. It’s a real highlight, especially at night.<br><br>Each room can accommodate one or two people, so you can even travel as a group of four.<br><br>With approximately 170 m², the apartment offers plenty of space for a relaxing stay. It features a large bathroom on the lower floor and a second, smaller bathroom on the upper floor. A well-equipped kitchen and a washing machine are available. Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment. The building has an elevator.<br><br>The best way to get there is from Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökcen Airport, and the trip takes about an hour.
