Elsie the Happy Camper is a charming 2021 Gulfstream Vintage 19CSK travel trailer located on Long Creek Haven, which is a gorgeous 4 acre retreat with 1200ft of creek frontage. Elsie has all of the creature comforts of home, including a kitchenette completely equipped to cook complete meals, a comfy & cozy queen-sized sleeping nook, a comfy sofa for relaxing, dining, watching TV, or working, and a full bath! The sofa jackknifes to a bed that measures 42"W x 58"L. Big enough for a young child to sleep on! All curtains are blackout! The space also includes a clean bathroom with a refreshing shower and a hair dryer for convenience. Climate control keeps the interior pleasant no matter the weather, making every stay enjoyable. Whether you’re relaxing inside or planning your next adventure, this marvelous RV offers a charming retreat! Elsie is best suited for a solo guest, a couple, or a couple with 1 child. *Outdoor grilling/dining cabana located directly on the creek behind Elsie.
*Enclosed private outdoor shower located next to the barn.
*Firepit, swing, and outdoor furniture located next to Elsie near the creek. First bundle of firewood is complimentary. Additional bundles are $10 per 10 pieces of firewood.
*Half bath located in the cabin.
*Laundry facilities located in the cabin. Laundry is $3 or $5 per load to wash & dry depending on which machines are used.
The French Broad River is a stone's throw away for kayaking! We are in the heart of the beautiful Smoky Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest, so outdoor recreation abounds! Many UTV/ATV, motorcycle, and jeep trails await your exploration! Guests are free to bring their UTV's and motorcycles (they must be licensed). Paint Creek Corridor/Recreation Area is 20 min away! The town of Newport is 15 min away for all of your necessities. The Smoky Mountain National Park is about 25 min. away. We are 20 min from Hot Springs, NC & Hartford, TN. Hartford is world-renowned for whitewater rafting! We are located 1 hr from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Knoxville, & Asheville! We are pet-friendly, however, pets must be well-behaved & on a leash at all times. Only 1 pet under 25lbs is allowed to stay in Elsie. The pet fee must be paid! We do have 1 small dog, 1 chicken, & 3 cats on the property.
We are also listed on Harvest Hosts, RV Overnights, Hipcamp, The Dyrt, and various other platforms, so other guests will also be on the property. The hosts live on the property. Occasionally, the hosts may be working on the property to improve it for our guests! Please message us on the day of your arrival with your ETA. We look forward to you visiting!
