Panorama Suite El Mirador: A spectacular place to stay for 2 people. Enjoy the most beautiful days at the winery above the clouds on the Canary Island of La Palma. Ocean views and a sky filled with fantastic cloud formations. After a fiery red sunset, this sky transforms into a clear, starry night sky.
A unique pool and many other outdoor areas:
The pool, featuring a small kitchen and secluded lounging areas, is one of the most beautifully situated pools on Isla Bonita. The area surrounding the pool extends across several terraces at different elevation levels, all offering ocean views. The 70,000-square-meter Hacienda La Palma features six vacation rentals whose guests share the pool. The pool area offers a high degree of privacy. Thanks to the rock gardens and plants, as well as the varying elevations and orientations of the terraces, there are areas shielded from view.
El Mirador features an outdoor terrace directly in front of the kitchen. It includes a lounge area with two sun loungers and views of the Atlantic coast off Isla Bonita and into the valley across the way. There is also a cozy, sheltered seating area with ocean views, grapevines, and prickly pears. The accommodations are located near the parking lot and features a herb spiral.
Cozy furnishings for a relaxing stay:
The El Mirador Panorama Suite is ideal for romantic moments by the flickering fireplace.
Homemade wine and the view from the floor-to-ceiling panoramic window: Enjoy the play of light and color as the sun sets off the west coast of La Palma.
El Mirador has a wood-burning stove with a glass-enclosed fire. A small, well-equipped kitchenette. High-speed internet via microwave radio link and Wi-Fi. German satellite TV, a sofa in front of the fireplace, and a window seat for two people. The 1.60-meter bed in an alcove is cozy. There’s a window here with a mosquito net. The home’s understated decor creates space to relax and unwind.
A quiet, wind-sheltered location and privacy at Hacienda La Palma:
The El Mirador Panorama Suite is located next to the El Refugio country house. A casa with its own entrance and outdoor areas. Compact and cozy, we classify it as one of La Palma’s special vacation rentals. Private entrances, secluded seating areas, and terraces within the lush subtropical garden on Isla Verde. This creates complete peace and privacy.
This southwestern-facing, wind-sheltered property, situated at 1,380 meters above sea level, is usually above La Palma’s trade wind cloud cover. It stretches across terraces and hills. The vacation homes blend seamlessly into nature as a finca with its own plot of land. They are spread out across the Hacienda La Palma.
Wooden patio furniture, lounge chairs, and the natural surroundings invite you to relax. Enjoy the fascinating sound of silence. Surrounded by centuries-old grapevines, almond trees, and fruit trees at this location on La Palma.
A La Palma vacation in the northwest of the island:
Located far from mass tourism in the middle of the Atlantic, La Palma is one of the last natural paradises. La Palma isn’t just the most beautiful island in the Canary Islands—it’s unique in many ways. According to UNESCO, La Palma ranks among the three most beautiful islands in the world, alongside Bora Bora and Jamaica. Globus. For our regular guests, this is especially true of the island’s northwest. The municipalities of Puntagorda and Villa de Garafia offer many vacation homes and apartments. Our location at an elevation of 1,380 meters above sea level, above Las Tricias, combines the most spectacular landscapes on La Palma with a vacation home getaway.
Centuries-old pine forests, vineyards, and almond groves, deep gorges, dragon trees, and endemic plants create a special vacation experience. In the immediate vicinity of the vacation homes, you’ll find trailheads for hiking routes on the island of La Palma. Through the vineyards to Refugio El Pinar; through the laurel forest and the visitor center with the Guanche caves in La Zarza; the famous dragon tree hike from Buraccas; or the spectacular tour up to Roque de los Muchachos to the astronomical observatories. The clean air and starry nights on La Palma have led to the establishment of the world’s largest observatories here. Anyone who spends a vacation in a vacation rental or casa rural on the northwest side of La Palma will be happy to return.
Below Las Tricias, heading toward Cueva de Agua, you’ll find Calle Jonsito Beach. During the summer months, the black lava sand beach typical of the Canary Islands is visible here.
