The Space:

Private pool + hot tub with sweeping valley views (the pool can be heated for an additional fee. From May 1 to October 1 the fee is $150/day. Outside of those dates there is a $500 start up fee plus $300/day.)

Sleeping Layout (Please Read)

This home comfortably accommodates groups, but we like to be fully transparent about the layout so there are no surprises:

Bedroom 1: King bed with ensuite bathroom

Bedroom 2: King bed with ensuite bathroom

Bedroom 3: Two queen beds

Bonus sleeping space: A smaller room off the laundry area with a bed

The bonus room is best suited for kids or flexible sleeping arrangements, as it is more compact and accessed through the interior of the home.

Many groups love the flexibility—but we prefer to set clear expectations upfront.



Guest Access:

Guests at Shygusta Ranch will have access to the main house, expansive outdoor areas, and amenities. Enjoy the refreshing outdoor pool, relax in the hot tub, and challenge friends and family to a game of pool or ping pong in the garage. The property features a private golf hole, perfect for practicing your swing. Explore the beautifully landscaped grounds, including the front lawn and back deck with ample seating and dining areas. The gourmet kitchen, family room with an electric fireplace, and great room with a large TV are all available for your enjoyment. Please note the barn and shed are off limits to guests.



The Neighborhood:

Shygusta Ranch is ideally situated for exploring the best of Calistoga and the surrounding Napa Valley. You're just a quick 5-10 minute drive from downtown Calistoga, where you'll find a charming array of restaurants, shops, and spas. Indulge in world-class dining, browse unique boutiques, or treat yourself to a rejuvenating spa experience. For wine enthusiasts, easy access to renowned wineries is a major perk. The property offers a sense of secluded tranquility while remaining conveniently close to all the action. Sonoma County Airport (STS) is a convenient 25-minute drive away, making travel a breeze.



Getting Around:

Getting around Shygusta Ranch is easy! We offer ample free parking on the premises and on the street. The Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS) is a convenient 25-minute drive away, with major rental car companies available. While public transportation options are limited in this area, ride-sharing services are readily available. For those interested in exploring the Wine Country, we offer private transportation services, including a 11-passenger wine tour van and a 6-passenger Cadillac Escalade, perfect for group outings or intimate experiences.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that our property is located in a rural area, so you may hear natural sounds and the occasional farm animal. To ensure a peaceful stay for all guests, we kindly ask that you observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM and refrain from hosting parties, events, or using amplified outdoor music. Pool heating is available for an extra charge to cover propane expenses. The pool can be heated for an additional fee. From May 1 to October 1 the fee is $150/day. Outside of those dates there is a $500 start up fee plus $300/day. We welcome pets, but please request approval beforehand and note that there is a $400 nonrefundable fee per pet.
