Our house is located at an elevation of approximately 700 meters above sea level, on the Grasberg near Altmünster. It is situated in the heart of the Attersee-Traunsee Nature Park, in a completely peaceful setting. Our house is perfect for families who want to enjoy a relaxing vacation together.
The Grasberghaus, with its large garden and various terrace areas, offers plenty of space to spend time together and also to unwind on your own.
The 135 m² first floor features a spacious living room with a dining area and a flat-screen TV, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms with double beds, a bedroom with two single beds, two bathrooms with showers, and 2 toilets.
All living areas are equipped with underfloor heating. For cozy winter days, a tiled stove is available in the living room.
The south-facing terrace, offering a magnificent view of the mountains, is accessible from the living area. A gas grill is available here for barbecue enthusiasts. A table and comfortable armchairs invite you to relax together and enjoy the moment.
The basement (95 m²) features a wellness area with a sauna and shower, a relaxation area with a small kitchenette, a table tennis room, a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a beverage refrigerator.
From the wellness area, you step directly out onto the pool terrace, where a cozy lounge set and sun loungers invite you to relax, and the 9-meter-long saltwater pool invites you to take a dip.
The pool can also be used with a cover, just like an indoor pool, so nothing stands in the way of swimming fun—even on rainy days.
In addition to the pool, there’s plenty of fun for the kids in the large garden. Two swings, a climbing frame, a playhouse, Bobby Cars, and a play kitchen are available for the little ones.
For adult guests, the table tennis room next to the
features a table tennis table, a foosball table, and an electronic dartboard.
For self-catering, shopping options are just a few minutes’ drive away. Down in the valley in Neukirchen, Altmünster, and Gmunden: grocery stores, bakeries, butcher shops, and much more. There’s also a wide variety of dining options offering diverse culinary delights from the region, such as the “Traunsee-Reinanke,” a fish delicacy.
A very good inn, the “Reschen Wirt,” is very close by and can be reached on foot with a short stroll.
The Salzkammergut and the Attersee/Traunsee Nature Park, with its fantastic mountain scenery and many lakes, offer countless opportunities for sports. In the warmer months: hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, cycling, swimming, sailing, surfing, rowing, and golf. In winter: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding, ski touring, and snowshoeing …
