Elk Falls is 15 min away, Mt Washington 25 min. The perfect home base for a smaller group or couple.
Three bedrooms give you room to spread out. A king suite with navy accent wall and reading chair, a queen bedroom with ocean-themed art, and a bunk room with a full-size bed below and twin above.
The open-plan main level connects the kitchen, dining area, and living room -- all facing the ocean through panoramic windows. The kitchen has everything for group meals: full-size appliances, island with bar seating, and cooking staples like oil, salt, and spices. Seat up to 8 at the dining table with an ocean-view painting overhead (two additional stackable chairs provided at the far corner of the table).
The living room centers on a gas fireplace with a large smart TV (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+). A bookshelf with games and a small reading library fills rainy afternoons. A dedicated workspace sits beside the fireplace for anyone catching up on emails.
One full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Please note there are no laundry facilities in this unit.

Guests have access to the main level of the home, front and rear decks, backyard, and driveway parking. The lower level is locked and not part of this booking.

Campbell River is Vancouver Island gateway to the wild -- orcas, grizzly bears, and ancient forests are all day trips from here. Elk Falls Provincial Park and its suspension bridge are 15 min away, and Discovery Pier offers salmon fishing right from the dock. Mt Washington Alpine Resort is 25 min to the turnoff for skiing in winter or mountain biking in summer. Quadra Island is a 10-min ferry ride for kayaking and Indigenous cultural experiences. Locally, Storey Creek Golf Club is 2 min away, and Willow Point cafes and restaurants are 7 min up the road.
Free driveway parking for 2 vehicles, with additional street parking available. The property is on South Island Highway, 15 min south of downtown Campbell River. Most attractions are a short drive: Elk Falls 15 min, Mt Washington turnoff 25 min, Comox Valley 30 min. A car is recommended -- public transit is limited on this stretch of the island.
The home sits directly across the highway from Stories Beach. You will hear road sounds during the day -- a sound machine is provided in the bedroom closest to the road for restful sleep. The property has exterior Ring cameras at the front door and side deck for security (no audio recording, exterior only). A NoiseAware device monitors indoor sound levels during quiet hours (9 PM-9 AM). The lower level of the home is not part of this booking and will remain locked during your stay. The home is on a septic system -- please follow the on-site instructions for use. There are no laundry facilities in this unit.

Refundable Damage Deposit A $500 refundable damage deposit will be held on your credit card during your stay and released within 5 business days after checkout, provided no damages occur.
Rental Agreement & Check-In Form You`ll receive a short-term rental agreement and check-in form to sign electronically after booking. The check-in form is used for ID verification to prevent fraudulent bookings. Both are quick and secure to complete. Please sign at least 48 hours before check-in to avoid cancellation. If you`d like to review the agreement before booking, just ask.
Exterior Cameras For your safety, exterior cameras monitor the entrance and backyard. These are motion-activated and strictly for outdoor use.
Noise Monitoring We use NoiseAware to monitor noise levels during quiet hours. It does not record audio, ensuring privacy while maintaining our no-party policy.
Cancellation Fee A 5% cancellation fee (as shown in cancellation policy) is charged on all bookings to cover payment processing fees. The home is on a septic system -- please follow the on-site instructions for proper use. The lower level of the home is locked and not part of this booking. Please do not attempt to access the lower level. No candles in the home. Please park on one side of the driveway; additional street parking is available.
